Either of our players you mentioned could do likewise. Maybe milkshake will do it again.

But I think it will bbb who leads the goal scoring bw both clubs.

Dream on!

Still don’t know how he’s getting a game

glad Melky got a chance to prove himself

He certainly and surprisingly embraced it like I've never seen.

Hope he plays with the same gusto tonight.

Gee last week's game was dominated by scoring opportunities from centre clearances.

I hope we get completely on top of these.

I know it's a big call but if Milk can ii feel all things are possible.

Bbb picked up his form in the later stages of the game and you are right he's been struggling but it's not like he has another big body like Tnac to help him out or wear down the opposition's defence.

In Demons heartland tonight -- Mt Martha.

I hope to hear a collective "BRAVO, CHAPS" ring out through the trees at approx 10:20pm tonight.

Listen out for the 'Just kick it' cry, which is the song of the mcc member dove.

What type of flowers get the brownie points on the Deever household?

They'd have to be a combination of fuchsias and Robbie flowers.

Hey, where are you(s) all (lol) watching the match?

I previously posted that I was watching the match at the Sporting Globe in Richmond to which I received zero response ... 😭

Upstairs sports bar at the Casino has a good atmosphere. I’d be there if I wasn’t unwell

I mean I still could..

Max Gawn a late out?

It's Facebook i know.. but someone mentioned that there was a radio report stating Gawn could be a late put due to knee soreness.

Usually the cheep ones eem to work so I won't argue. I always say it's the thought even if I don't really put much into it.

Mrs Deevers easily pleased and truth be told probably grateful she can watch her Netflix series without being bothered. Its win win.

If I'm having mates over I'll kick in an extra 15 for roses which means I may even be served some franks and the odd "can I get you another beer my love" ( Please keep any responses clean., )😃

Sometimes I close the deal with chocolates or even better a bottle of Bailey's.

Speaking of responses....flowers are charming and candy is dandy but liquor is quicker.

Swamp out the back?  If a fender is spotted, time to panic

Surely not. Worst case just plonk him in the goal square and give the reigns to Jackson.

As far as team sheets go there's no late changes.

What the hell is soreness? Who isn’t sore in round 22? Bloody hell.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
