The Charlie matchup is tough. Hibbo was excellent last time but it would be good for Hunt to get a crack. Glad we'll likely have both.

Prefer Hibberd

So does that mean he has stayed behind?

Absolutely no idea. It does mean I am spending to much time on social when I should be working

I'm sure Hibbo will get the first crack at him

Can you do that in aeroplane mode?

Casey plays Brisbane as well so the entire squad is heading north. IMO the only player out of form is Spurge and his moments on the wing have not been his finest. He could make way for Harmes, but if Harmes was a planned in why did he play 4 quarters Sunday in that slog?

Ideally, I would like another tall forward marking option but who do they replace? Brisbane has already flagged that they plan to be aggressive at the contest and expect Mathieson to be crude and aggressive, probably to Clarry.

I am sure he will play but couldn't help but notice how heavily strapped Max's knee was in the training photos.

1 change at the most, swap Harmes and Spargo.

I wonder if there has ever been any thought to playing Joel Smith as a mobile ruckman at some stage. He is only 192cms.. but almighty leap, athletic, quick.

Just thinking out loud, seeing Finlayson play really good footy as a mobile link ruckman.

It seems like there are far fewer whispers about selection this season.

This is completely made up, so please ignore.

I have heard Weed is chance of being selected this week.

I was on the plane & didn't notice weid. But could have just not seen him

I spoke to my crystal ball and it told me tonight Goody will pull a massive surprise and announce a grand total of 0 changes.

This talk about blooding JVR for this week’s match (and any game this year) is just insanity to me.

We need cool, calm heads, and don’t need the distraction of a kid figuring it all out for the first time.

Cannot wait to see what he delivers next year, but if anybody “new” has to come into the forward line this season I would much prefer Joel Smith.

Hibberd was written off by more than a few on this site early in the season.

He missed a few games due to injury early on which has been a huge factor in our unsettled defence this year.....Salem.. Petty...Lever in then out....Bowie. nay has missed a few games from injuries and the worst of all fighting with a team mate.

You cant constantly have players muss 2 to6 games come up through the 2s and be their best.

Even supergit superstars take time to get back to par...the speed...endurance and recovery.

Anyway he has been very good since returning and proven it's not just older fwds that can offer a lot.

He's quick for his size with great closing speed...a good puncher( at the BALL) and gutsy.

Hope he gets Cameron and completely Hibberds Him.

As for Milkshake I had written him off as had many others.

And in all fairness it seemed right.

2 tp 3 years ago he would burst through the middle of the ground much faster than last year.

He may not be as fast but he seems a lot stronger.  He's also good and smart with his disposal.

Well he was lat week and it's his clearly his best game in 3 years I reckon.

Don't know where that form has been and I don't care as long as keeps bringing it.

Stay hungry Milk and even angry if it keeps you playing like that.

It was Fritatesque like. And in a side who has seen a few its fwds struggle or injured what a great time to play like that.

Me too but I can't say who for.

Bbb has been poor but picked up at the end of the game And we know what he can do up fwd compared to Joel.

I just hope he starts doing it.

I think your own reasoning applies somewhat to soss...mfc version.

BBB hasn't been poor. He's playing a lone hand as a tall forward and is performing his role.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
