Interesting that he has played over 100 games.
hasn’t kicked a lot of goals, but is that his fault?

Sandringham Boy

worth a good look

Only really seen him play a bit,  not paid much attention to the kind of player he is, if he isn’t guaranteed a starting 22 spot, would he want to come to the club?

If we got him, who would he replace in the best 22?

Has the same career goal average as Ed Langdon.

Could just be wingers don't kick many.

I like him and have always rated him.

What does it take? 2nd round pick?

Don't see how he fits in the picture, at all.

Never noticed him playing on the Wing that much

Amon is a small forward

Free agent.

Ah even better...

Definitely worth a crack in my eyes.

Can someone post a summary of what the article says?

He had an average start to his career, didn’t find much ball and kicking was inconsistent when he did. The last 1.5 years he’s turned into a really good wingman, up there amongst the best in the league behind Langdon. Free agent this year, so suits us as we don’t have decent picks to trade. Not sure where he fits though unless we’re going to lose Brayshaw or Jordon and Sparrow types are demoted.

Nah, he's a winger mate.

May have played some forward time early on, but has played the wing for a few years now.

I must have missed those games

He is far too small to play wing in my opinion, maybe that is why he struggles to play consistently at Port

Definately worth a look though, particularly as an FA

Does he 2-way run?

I wouldn’t say he struggles to play consistently at Port. Has been a regular in the side for a while now, good pace, great kick and averages >23 disposals per game over the last couple of seasons.

1cm shorter than Langdon and 1kg heavier.

Play consistently? Not sure if you mean performance or actually playing, but he's barely missed a game for 4 years and was in the AA squad last year.

You sure you're thinking of the right player?

Number 15 yes

always under utilised

I wouldn’t play him as a wingman

He's played wing all his career.

Very similar to Langdon who has a big tank and two way running.

Slick left footer.

A pretty long kick from recollection

He doesn’t do a lot though

23 disposals means little in the modern game

Lol he was pretty much nominated as an All Australian wingman last year mate..

With more than 100 games now in the bank, Amon played every possible game in 2021 and isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. He led the club in kicks on the season and was right up there for disposals, inside 50s and centre clearances, rounding out a career best year which saw him nominated for All-Australian selection and recognised as the club’s most improved player for the year.

The Demons are back on the road again for the third time this season when they take on the red hot ladder leaders the Sydney Swans at the SCG. Can the Demons take another big scalp? Who comes in and who goes out?

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
