Optus Stadium is half empty. What a bunch of fair weather glory hunters their supporter base is. Not something we could ever be accused of thankfully. Win or lose we don't turn up.

But it won’t be discussed by the media.

Horrible fair weather fans, watch their attendances plummet

Are all of these Riolis related or is it the indigenous equivalent of Smith or Jones ?

The eagles are playing like pea hearts. They look like us in the neeld years except they actually have some talent on this list so this is worse.

At this rate Richmond will be in the 8 tonight and could still be there at the end of the round.

I sincerely hope WC want it more Dub - I've placed a "responsible" investment on them.

Perhaps this result will confirm to those who supported us last September that they should continue to support the mighty ducks.     Err.   Dees

Must've been an outstanding Shiraz Uncle

Jamie Cripps has to be up there as the biggest downhill skier in the league.

As for the Weagles and their ‘tanking’ approach, Dogga aint going to go anywhere near this cesspool of a club. They can wallow in their own ineptitude for a good 5-6 years.

Not sure I really think this

....... and talking premiership!!!!

Eagles are tanking and will try to get their dirty mitts on English or Jackson by low balling their club with the threat of the pre season draft.
Luckily I can’t see Jackson going from the premiers to the wooden spooners.

And if they won’t, Caro surely will 😂

They need to get in line behind Carlton and St Kilda.

Surely even Richmond fans would be a little circumspect about this win. West Coast are taking the wizz with their effort here.

I just watched Nankervis, the slowest human on the planet, just jog to an open goal, only to give a Joe the Goose to Riewoldt. Anyone gonna defend, or…?

For this reason alone.  Come on tigers

drive them into the dirt!

Good to see Meth Coke in the doldrums and Freo flying their flag for a change.

Horrible from the Eagles. 100 point belting coming up

How about 187?

I realise there are a number of factors that turn a team into a bag of spuds (happens to the best of us 😂) but does anyone think something similar to this might be on the cards for you know who next year!?....

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
