Daisy needs a big 2nd half.

Not sure if it’s just superior opposition or the improved standard of the game has gone past her best.

Short kicking does not work.

I don’t like saying it, but Daisy needs to be dragged. She can’t hold down a spot at HF. Too slow now

Adelaide are smashing us. Should be 7 goals up

We have too many midgets

Some of these crows women will put a fortune through the canteen after the game too

Zanker has to back up ruck and Parry stay at CHF because we are absolute a mess there

Pearce, Zanker, Hore, Bannon, Parry, West have collectively done 2/5ths of FA. Oh and Mithen too

This is the worst performance I can remember from our girls ever. They cannot find anything forward on centre. Zanker, usually one of our best, has had a complete stinker. Coach really needs to spin the magnets and change something in the last. This is a really embarrassing performance

Any chance we can play on? Instead of trying the slow possession game. Only allows Adelaide to set up.

We are. Playing way too fast. Need to slow down and get numbers around the drop. The lack of coordination from our forwards and mids is alarming

A bit of noise of affirmation going on.

Crows have 4 out with covid protocols and lost their captain mid game plus another two and it’s 14 shots to 2.

disgraceful performance

Maybe, just maybe we are not good enough.

Anyone willing to join me on the Paxy is overcooked train?

After today, yep I’m getting there

Yeah …we are way off the benchmarks. We cannot get the ball moving with any fluidity at all. The signs were there the last 2 weeks, but we did enough to get over the line. Against a quality outfit today, we have been completely shown up.

Taylor Harris is a shadow of her former self. Lost all conditioning and looks unfit and uncoordinated. Unless she is jumping at the ball, completely useless

It’s not a day to judge the forwards too much, she’s had a good start of the year. But she only likes to chase if she can nail someone in a tackle which is the wrong attitude.

The amount of fumbles is a disgrace. A lot of players hearing footsteps.
Two weeks is a row of rubbish (bar the final qtr last week). And not working hard enough as demonstrated by being out numbered at nearly every contest.

They are capable of so much better than this.

She is second to the ball and when she ‘nails’ one it is clumsy and she gives away free kicks. Simple as that

That 3rd quarter was pathetic. Let us just hope that it is the worst quarter of footy we play all year.

Holding the ball interpretation is a JOKE

  • REPORT: Fremantle

For this year’s Easter Saturday game at the MCG, Simon Goodwin and his Demons wound the clock back a few years to wipe out the horrible memories of last season’s twin thrashings at the hands of the Dockers. And it was about time! Melbourne’s indomitable skipper Max Gawn put in a mammoth performance in shutting out his immediate opponent Sean Darcy in the ruck and around the ground and was a colossus at the end when the game was there to be won or lost. It was won by 16.11.107 to 14.13.97. There was the battery-charged Easter Bunny in Kysaiah Pickett running anyone wearing purple ragged, whether at midfield stoppages or around the big sticks. He finish with a five goal haul.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.
