If any members in Vic that has Gf Ā guarantees and canā€™t make it to Perth please pm me . Iā€™m a MelbĀ Ā supporterĀ in Perth and would love to get seats to cheer the boys on if we make the Gf

I have oneĀ

Ā

Got my bro, sister and families in Perth they will mop up on my 4 x membership. I also have grand final access ticket so will probably have to raffle that to pay for my next year's membership.

If anyone can assist with a bar code I would be very grateful - have sent a few PM's to those above who had spares if anyone is on here at the moment.

Go dees!

I've yet to receive the email but in talking with the club they mentioned the tickets need to be bought in the name of the person attending not in the name of the member.

Could folks check their email to see if there is any info on this.Ā

Thanks.

But if you're buying multiple tickets per membership how would they know?

Glad people are happy to help out - only thing I would say is beware of new Demonland members requesting tickets as they may be looking to scalp tickets in Perth. I know similar things have happened in the past so you may want to take someone on their word and take the chance or you may be more considered in who you're helping out.

An understandable and sensible post - admittedly not a great look for brand new posters to be asking but personally i legit only found this forum this morning and didn't know it existed.

Just a fan looking to go cheer on the team (accompanied by some eagles fans unfortunately but cant be helped).

Hi, I am going to throw my hat in the ring.Ā  Life-long demons supporter and a lurker here.Ā  Ā Ā

I live in Perth and I think have this Fridayā€™s tickets sorted but hoping to purchase a grand final ticket if they win (no interest if they donā€™t win, will be sulking).Ā

So if anyone has a GF guarantee they canā€™t use would be very grateful, thanks.Ā

I was a reader of the DL but think this time of year and the excitement/anticipation and fear of "how do I get tickets" causes people to sign up.

Ie. My profile was created onĀ September 18, 2018Ā  -Ā  So i apologise for jinxing us that year aha

I've now received the email,.Ā Ā

My earlier post isn't relevant given that each bar code holder can buy 8 tickets.

As do I

This is my first post on this forum in years. Bought a grand final guarantee this year, but am Melbourne based so wonā€™t be able to go.
Ā

Just spoke to the membership line regarding whether it would be a refund or whether we can pass the barcode on to someone else. The membership lady said we can pass the barcode on to someone elseā€¦ has anyone heard if theyā€™ll offer refunds?
Ā

Would be happy to pass the barcode on to someone who can go, but will want to recoup the ~$230 or so I spent on the grand final guaranteeā€¦

ā€œPlease see below the information I have been provided regarding the grand final guarantees.

Ā You will only be entitled to a refund if restrictions in your LGA restrict you from doing so.

Ā Due to the uncertainty around the location of this seasonsā€™ Grand Final, weā€™d like to reiterate some restrictions of the Grand Final Guarantee product.

  • If Melbourne are not a competing team in the Grand Final, the grand final guarantee product is non-refundable.
  • If the Grand Final is played outside of Victoria under no COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, providing Melbourne are a competing team you are not eligible for a refund.
  • If COVID-19 restrictions impede your ability to attend the Grand Final and Melbourne is a participating team, you are entitled to a refund of the Grand Final Guarantee product.

Ā If you have any further questions, please let us know.ā€

Thanks - thought Iā€™d seen thatĀ somewhere but wasnā€™t able to find it searching through the forums.

Have had a couple of posters reach out and the ticket is now spoken for providing we make it.

Go dees.

Mine is still available, PM if keen. Maybe tell us a short story on how you started following the Dees to filter out the bots :p

I don't see why the WA government can't allowĀ some sort of FIFO arrangement for VIC based fans like the UK did for itallians in the euro 2020 final. Test before the game, negative, fly in shuttle to the ground fly out no contact with the public barring those in the stadium.

Ā

way too rational and logical a situation for any government currently in power in this country.

I think everyone should be a bit wary of the folks posting here. Lots of 'longtime demon fans' that have signed up for demonland this week.

Ā

WA are rushing through scalping laws for the gf. You'd hate for someone breaking the law by scalping a ticket to be traced back to your membership.Ā

Exactly, if someone new on this page is requesting, i'd refrain. Easy to see based on the amount of posts. People can try their luck on the Facebook supporters group where they aren't as de-identified.

First time posterĀ but long time Deez fan in Perth! Iā€™ve got an interstate membership and used it today to secure my PF tickets. Itā€™s now a sell out so very, very happy.
Ā

However I donā€™t have a GF guarantee so would be very keen for any help if/when we win on Friday night.Ā Can show proof of my club membership if it helps!

I have just seen this OP. Iā€™m in Sydney so canā€™t go. Ā I also spoke to membership dept last week and was told I can either get a refund for my $150 GF Guarantee or can pass it on to someone in Perth. If we make it Iā€™ll be passing on to a family member. If people are thinking of pursuing the refund I encourage you to try and find someone who will pay you the $150 for your GF Guarantee. That way the Club keep the $150 and the team get extra supporters there.Ā

So our options

1) Refund
2) Pass on/Sell to Western Dees

Would happily take DemonShop credit as well.Ā

Ā

Hello everybody, first time poster, but I'mĀ a massive fan of Aussie rules and especially the Melbourne DemonsĀ team.Ā Ā

I'd really like to go to the play-offs this weekend if you can lend me a membership.

I promise to cheer loudlyĀ and make sure the ref doesn't cheat forĀ Geelong Cats.Ā

Go Melbourne Demons AFL !!

Edit:Ā No posting of ads...

Beware.Ā  At least one of those websites is an on-seller of tickets.Ā  Victoria has laws against on-selling of GF tickets but not all states do.

The 'Tell':Ā Ā I will be barracking for whoever sells me the barcodes

  • CASEY: Geelong

There was a time in the second quarter of the game at the Cattery on Friday afternoon when the Casey Demons threatened to take the game apart against the Cats. The Demons had been well on top early but were struggling to convert their ascendancy over the ground until Tom Fullartonā€™s burst of three goals in the space of eight minutes on the way to a five goal haul and his best game for the club since arriving from Brisbane at the end of 2023. He was leading, marking and otherwise giving his opponents a merry dance as Casey grabbed a three goal lead in the blink of an eye. Fullarton has now kicked ten goals in Caseyā€™s three matches and, with Melbourneā€™s forward conversion woes, he is definitely in with a chance to get his first game with the club in next weekā€™s Gather Round in Adelaide. Despite the tall forwardā€™s efforts - he finished with 19 disposals and eight marks and had four hit outs as back up to Will Verrall in the second half - it wasnā€™t enough as Geelong reigned in the lead through persistent attacks and eventually clawed their way to the lead early in the last and held it till they achieved the end aim of victory.

  • REPORT: Geelong

I was disappointed to hear Goody say at his post match presser after the teamā€™s 39 point defeat against Geelong that "we're getting high quality entry, just poor execution" because Melbourneā€™s problems extend far beyond that after its 0 - 4 start to the 2025 football season.Ā There are clearly problems with poor execution, some of which were evident well before the current season and were in play when the Demons met the Cats in early May last year and beat them in a near top-of-the-table clash that saw both sides sitting comfortably in the top four after round eight.Ā Since that game, the Demonsā€™ performances have been positively Third World with only five wins in 19 games with a no longer majestic midfield and a dysfunctional forward line that has become too easy for opposing coaches to counter. This is an area of their game that is currently being played out as if they were all completely panic-stricken.

  • PREGAME: Essendon

Facing the very real and daunting prospect of starting the season with five straight losses, the Demons head to South Australia for the annual Gather Round, where theyā€™ll take on the Bombers in search of their first win of the year. Who comes in, and who comes out?

  • NON-MFC: Round 04

Round 4 kicks off with a blockbuster on Thursday night as traditional rivals Collingwood and Carlton clash at the MCG, with the Magpies looking to assert themselves as early-season contenders and the Blues seeking their first win of the season. Saturday opens with Gold Coast hosting Adelaide, a key test for the Suns as they aim to back up their big win last week, while the Crows will be looking to keep their perfect record intact. Reigning wooden spooners Richmond have the daunting task of facing reigning premiers Brisbane at the ā€˜G and the Lions will be eager to reaffirm their premiership credentials after a patchy start. Saturday night sees North Melbourne take on Sydney at Marvel Stadium, with the Swans looking to build on their first win of the season last week against a rebuilding Roos outfit. Sundayā€™s action begins with GWS hosting West Coast at ENGIE Stadium, a game that could get ugly very early for the visitors. Port Adelaide vs St Kilda at Adelaide Oval looms as a interesting clash, with both clubs form being very hard to read. The round wraps up with Fremantle taking on the Western Bulldogs at Optus Stadium in what could be a fierce contest between two sides with top-eight ambitions. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons besides us winning?
