The Cats are a proud group. I expect them to beat GWS convincingly.

Without McStay and Hipwood the Lions have little HF connection or marking power going forward.  Tag Cameron and they are struggling

I think the dogs have regained some form and will beat the Lions in a thriller.  Don't forget the Dogs were favourites for the flag a fair chunk of the year and are only really missing Bruce

I wouldn’t be at all shocked if the Bulldogs make the Grand Final.

I expect the cats to win comfortably unless Hogan kicks a bag,  and I cant split the lions v dogs.

I can see the dogs getting momentum but I can also see the lions bouncing back against a doggies defence which can be suspect, then get McStay back to play Port and take it to them.

but as people have said lets hope they are grinding affairs and in the prelim we have the physical advantage.

My tips are Geelong to respond after their terrible effort against Port especially with Greene out. Bulldogs too strong for Brisbane especially with McStay out.

You know who I wanna see win tomorrow night?

Injuries. Yep, injuries. Injuries and lottttssss of em. Injuries galore. I want injuries to be BOG. Not life-threatening injuries. Not even career- or season-ending injuries (although I wouldn’t be averse to this happening to certain players 😏). I’d like an even spread of injuries to both sides. Well, maybe a few extra for Geri-long. And apart from the head and the family jewels* no part of the body is immune.

I want so many injuries that headlines about the carnage are splashed across the front page of every morning newspaper in Australia.

I want so many injuries that SwampThing will be swamped with requests for stats re the most injuries in a single semifinal. And I want the injuries tally tomorrow night to absolutely blow the current record out of the water.

So tomorrow night I’ll be yelling at my TV: Go Injuries!!!

Seriously though, I don’t care who wins tomorrow night coz whoever it is, we’ll smash em.

*Although I can’t speak from experience I’m led to believe this pain is childbirth x 100. Well, blokes carry on as though it is. 😁

I'm not sure about the magnification of childbirth x 100. However there is an argument for childbirth being less painful; I have heard of many women says "lets have another child" and yet never ever heard of any man saying "that was great, how about another kick in the Jatz Crackers".

Hope the cats and giants beat the crap out of each other

If the Cats make it to a GF with the MFC, they will drop dead mid-game from exhaustion but,  against the Giants, they could put in three good quarters and hang on to a small lead on the scoreboard provided that the umpires render standard procedural assistance and keep the Cats in the game.

Good ins for Geelong. They're old as the hills, but they've got a very good paper list.

No idea who I want to win. Please just both kill each other.

Hoping GWS win in a brutal bloodbath. The most important thing is that they smash each other in to oblivion, but I so want the icing on top of Geelong going out in straight sets.

Couldn’t care less about the other game. Neither of them will beat Port so it’s a dead rubber from my perspective.

Geelong being so old is starting to make me think that GWS could be a chance if they run them off their feet.

That reminds me...

Off topic, but speaking of age, did I hear correctly that the side we played in the last round of the season (unchanged for the final) was the second youngest in the league?   😳

The only name on that list that jumps out at you as not long for this footy world is Tom McDonald (maybe Ben Brown too), and even that is based more on the past than the future.

Good spot to be in.

Jesse kicking a bag would provide a sentimental bone of interest.

Otherwise I'm in the Beat Each Other Up camp.

The Lions V Dogs game has a watch this space feel about it, with regards to it even going ahead as planned.

If those kids that recently visited Melbourne test positive and exposing a Brisbane school, then SE QLD could very well be in lockdown this weekend.

My money is on J Cameron to be too hyped up against his old side. He’ll do a cheap off the ball hip and shoulder and cop 2 weeks

Bulldogs go in without a recognised ruckman again.

Brisbane for mine

They have for most of the year. If they get their midfield going, they waltz past Brisbane IMV. Unless Cameron, Daniher, Bailey and Zorko go mad, I can't see how Brisbane kick a winning score.

That's a beautifully balanced best 22.
