I didn't know that...it changes my prediction completely.

37 seconds until the first dodgy free kick.

Once the squealing starts the umps react “Better pay a free, must have missed something”

Would have thought Vanders to hit in hard in tough conditions.

who's the medi sub?

Damn that storm looks like a sign, gonna be a tough game for all!!!

So Melksham starts and JJ sub

the storms are coming apparently well according to the weather report.  Just got to start well and early and kick straight.

If essendon and nth can best west coast surely we can?

Must bring that bias to get the ball forward with urgency

We did it a while back in a wet game looked so much more credible than over possessing fumbly crap we've dealt up lots of times before

Don't mind the idea of injecting an angry AvB at 3 QTR time to belt the living suitcase out of a couple.

Can picture a few short strides (and a few messy ones)

Realistically they’ve got a full squad minus Luke Shuey…

Liam Ryan is also handy...

Like we need another reason to be proud of our beloved Dees. I mean seriously, is there no end to the awesomeness that is MFC?! ❤️💙❤️💙

Oh its about to start.

Hold me.

Doesn't it start at 8.10 pm?

I want us to win tonight.

I want us to be responsible for WCE missing the finals.

I want Eagles fans to scapegoat the umpires, their old players, the lack of fans and everything else as they try to explain the loss.

I want my cousin's kids, who live in Perth and are the only Dees at their school, to enjoy mocking those who have relentlessly stirred them all their lives.

I want to text my Perth mate after the game and just say "ha, f*cking ha"

In short, I want to HUMILIATE the Eagles.

I want us to show no mercy as we grind them into oblivion.

Remember how you felt in the 2018 Prelim?  Embrace the feeling.

Now is the moment that our Premiership campaign takes off. No more losses - six more wins.

Go Demons!

Sorry bingers. Its pathetic....i got excited by the pregame show on free to air.

Hope we don't get the same effort as Cairns last year in tricky conditions.

Still not feeling good about this one.

Kelly, Yeo, Gaff, Sheed, Redden. Solid mid

excellent fwd line.

they will be switched on

a loss is not the end of the world although it will be for some on here if it happens

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
