Jake Bowey is a bloody good footballer.

Absolutely, doesn’t waste a kick and is a real prospect. His debut is not far away.

he is just kid who play a bit ,but long way from afl level

Weideman has been good up the ground, mostly creating space and harassing and laying off handballs. Sadly, he had a couple of good marking opportunities closer to goal and botched them. The Casey forward line structure is so hard to read tho. The delivery is often awful.

Jones, Bowey, Weid and Turner the highlights of the first half.

A lot of guys look like they haven’t played in a month and rightly so.

Would like to see Chandler, Bedford and Laurie on ball rather than so much of Munro and the 3 experienced guys.

Did you see it that quarter?

That straight kick inside 50 was great, that's the Melksham I'd love to have back in the team. His kicks before that were poor though. Would love him to turn it on the rest of the game and get back in the side.

Rosman is handy in space but a deer in the headlights with anything contested. Can’t give off quick handballs. Doesn’t know how to win the ball on the deck. He’s going to need a whole lot of coaching and time

So want BBB to play well today.
❤️?

seems my wish may be granted! ?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

Before Sunday, the last time the Brisbane Lions had walked onto the turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, they celebrated the pinnacle of the sport - an AFL premiership secured in emphatic fashion for the second consecutive year.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
