As a long time supporter I'm tired.

Tired of Greg Stafford being our goal kicking coach

Feel your pain on the Dee-trauma front, Deegirl.

To be fair to the big fella his goals/behinds percentage is pretty darn good at 68.12% from 141 goals in 204 games -  better than Dunstall and not far off Lockett. For the record, Yze is 54.67% and Goodwin 54.54%. (Ben Brown at 67.21% is nice!). I remember him as having a very simple and clean kicking action.

But in general it has been a tiring watch over the journey.

Petracca looks the same as last season. Not sure what you're looking at.

How many times have you seen Rosman play just out of interest?

This sort of completely rude, pointless post is a stain on this generally pretty good site. Just rubbish and it says all I need to know about who you are a person. And it is one of your more innocuous posts.

As I have posted before I put very few posters on ignore. Mostly with posters such as yourself who add little but angst i just don't bother with their posts, or if I do  use sarcasm to make a point.

But this rudeness is the straw 'dr d' and on ignore you go. It has been a tough  long year for everyone. Who needs to see such dull negativity.

Fraser Rosman has the potential to be an absolute beast. He has a similar physique to Paddy Cripps.

Bit of muscle to come, bit of orientation to the level, bit of inspiration from the Team - all will be good. I'd like to think that he could become an important interceptor and 'physical' rebounder with courage and intent. Over to you, Chock-Ooze!

I contacted the club today about going to Casey and what time training would be. This is there response.

Thank yo for taking the time to contact us.

The team won't be training tomorrow and at this stage their won't be any open training sessions. You can see training sessions when they take  place from outside the fence but you can't enter or approach players on their way in or out before or after training for photos or autographs due to the current guidelines.

So sorry Demonlanders I won't be going Friday. Hopefully in the new year they will have open training sessions.

Thanks for your efforts Werridee, do you mind just checking again that it didn't go on to say

... However we do understand supporter sites such as Demonland offer a valuable service in providing additional information to our fans, and given the circumstances we'll endeavour to provide further information on our website, along the same lines of what's been seen on those sites.

They may have forgotten to add that part.

Everyone here has stood by the team and continues to do so.

You can do that while also admitting that they torture us.

Thank you for your service.

Let us know how it goes and how much you can still see from behind the fence.

I'd love to head down before the Christmas break but not if it's comparable to sitting in row MM of the Ponsford stand. Apologies in advance to @Supermercado

False comparison, the elevation of Row MM lets you see everything you need to. Watching through the Casey fence would be like sitting at the back of Level 1 of the MCG but even worse because you're looking through a fence.

We are so frustrating and can't be trusted.   It's not pleasant watching them, it's a chore.

As a long time supporter I'm tired.

Tired of not seeing them fulfil potential.

Tired of seeing them drop games they should win.

Tired of watching subpar skills.

Tired of having [censored] Robbo as the game day hype man.

Tired of seeing Trac, Clarry and Brayshaw not got back and take their time off the mark.

Tired of seeing Melksham give away stupid 50s.

Tired of not seeing the club hire a vodou houngan to calm the uneasy spirit of Norm Smith.

Tired of saying wtf happened to Tom McDonald

Tired of seeing spuds like ANB on the list

Tired of Greg Stafford being our goal kicking coach (pre-Choco)

Think of this as my MFC Festivus  - I got a lot of problems with you people!

Very good. 100% agreed.

This post just about sums up why we've been utter garbage since 2007 and have not fulfilled our so called potential under Goodwin, despite he being gifted a solid list and re-build.

The Melksham one I especially agree with. If he gives away another pathetic 50 in round 1 next year, he can go play at Casey Fields until June.

I hear you Deegirl

I had to stop watching mid-way through 2019. Wasn’t fair on the family to put up with my outbursts and grumpiness. I was so expectant after 2018 and then….devastation.

Disappointment is the lot of most fans but the life of a dees supporter is a tough road.

But having said that, when we eventually come good, and we will (hopefully I’ll be alive) it will be all the sweeter for having travelled that road.

Go dees!

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
