Forget the fairytale return, the coach was apparently keen to see the back of him two years ago given his extra curricular activities! Made Watts look like a choir boy!

Problem is that there are probably several clubs that would pay more for Jesse than we would.

But perhaps we are hos destination club ?

I think there is a slightly better chance of him returning than there is on me pulling on the boots in 2021.

Ugg boots, Mr Old?

If we dont get Brown, then Jesse would be a handy key forward.

We would want to be buying him cheap.

Future 3rd round 2021 pick.

Obvious challenges and issues and needs to overcome the mental down times.

Jesse knows the players ✅

The players know Jesse✅

There is no Go Home Factor anymore ✅

My hand up too.

Subject to SONS's bolded words.

A change and back to the future is what he needs

Our players/coachs' should do that SMS thing (text to the unwashed) to say hello

Offer Freo nexts years first round pick and Brayshaw. That’ll spark there interest

It would spark some reflux for me if we offered that.

Yeh let’s keep playing it safe, it’s working so well for us

Freo have been burnt bad. He clearly can’t get his head right to play at the level even with family and friends around.

are you guys for real that you think we should go for him?!?

Never should have gone back to WA.

I’m going glass half full and he can take Harley’s spot on the high-risk-high-reward list.  This could be our Trent Croad moment.

Yeh, lets give up the farm for a broken player. Glad you're not working for the club!

Hogan is reportedly on an amount in excess of $900k per year with a contract going till the end of 2021.

He's Freo's T Mac

Hard to make those numbers work for any suitor unless Freo stumps up around half.

Would Hogan move on a one year deal or would he want 2 or 3?

The role of a coach is to get all the different personalities to work together. They won’t all be robots. They just need to commit to what the team needs.

Jesse will be advised that this is it for him. He either makes it work or he’s just another waste of talent.

Get him back and see what he can do. He doesn’t need to be a superstar, just a contributor. He’d make us harder to beat, and as a supporter that’s all I need.

Your offer for him was more than we got for him in the first place, which is vomit inducing considering he was in better nick at the end of 2018 than he is now.

I think a lot less will spark their interest. A 3rd rounder should be enough to get the conversation started.

I like the romance of Jesse coming back to play for us but I just can't see it happening. It sounds like he had a myriad of issues while he was with us and we gave him a gentle nudge out the door in 2018. Looking from the outside, those issues have only gotten worse with Jesse not only suffering a foot injury that forced him to miss a large chunk of footy, but having serious mental health issues that took him out of the game for a while as well.  Now after years of chasing him, freo are pushing him out the door with one year left to go on his initial contract. That's screaming red flags for me.

I would say his value has dropped dramatically and if there is a club interested in him, they won't be giving up a first round pick.
