I received on Tues and still yet to open. As mentioned in the Freo postgame thread I requested a number to be added last Wed and I feel like it was sent too quick to have allowed for this change and now reading that @Kick_It_To_Pickett doesn't have their name on there I'm going into meltdown. As bad as MFCSS gets..

You positive it’s not on there? It can be hard to find Names. Took me a while to find my dads.

Feel free to Pm me your name and I’ll take a look.

 Found @Nascent pretty quickly.

My last name starts with B, and while there is plenty of names in alphabetical order, the Bs seem to be dudded around the arms and the sponsors logo. I am guessing mine may be under the Zurich patch. Amazing to see that Don McLardy has his name in amongst the Bs conveniently above the Zurich logo. Coincidence, methinks not. Another example of loyal fans being shafted by the club. They can refund me the additional 200 bucks. I’m livid. Have a family of full memberships, even though I’m MCC and could easily have just bought the 80 buck associate ones.

It’s not necessarily in alphabetical order. Also my name is on there twice.

My brother’s name is in the C’s and he’s mixed in with a bunch of G’s.

I’ll have a better look when I get home. Wife sent a photo through, similar to one you posted. Haven’t been able to find it. Are there names on the back of the jumper.?

No names on the back of the jumper.

As mentioned the names aren't necessarily in alphabetical order. There are some that appear in alphabetical order and then there are a few randoms mixed in and then it becomes totally random.

My dad, my brother and myself are in random place towards the top and then we're all in a row down the bottom. I've seen a few names twice and I'd hope that the ones accidentally covered by the sponsors and logos are repeated elsewhere.

Thanks Demonland. I was able to find mine. So to those I may have worried, it seems I made the error in not looking hard enough. I guess I should apologise for slagging the club ahhah

Phew. For a moment there I thought you were avoiding the auto-censor. But you really did mean bunch of G's rather than the potentially more profane "bunch of C's".

In the end they supplied you with a jumper and a puzzle.

Also I purchased two jumpers. One for myself and one for Demonland but only received one jumper today. I hope they haven't electronically mailed the Demonland one.

I reckon we'd be up around $800k had we won the last 2 games. Was it after the Pies or the Saints game Pert said we'd banked around $100k in the week following those wins

Yep, Pert was also saying two weeks ago (prior to the Sydney game) we'd get close and at the time, I think he was right. Had we won those last two games as you say mate, we'd be closing in on the $800k mark.

A great effort from our supporters nevertheless.

Great effort from the supporters, the members, the admin

I received my jumper today but can’t seem to find my name.  Does anyone know if it should be highlighted on the jumper or is it just a where’s Wally approach?

Depends. Is your name Wally?

My name is not there, I wrote to them about it but no reply. I know they are all working reduces hours and days so I have cut them some slack in 2020. At the end of the day it ain’t that important.

I had the same issue.
I called the DemonShop directly and they said that some people’s names were missed and that they would be receiving another jumper at some stage.
It’s up to you of course but a phone call to them will fix your issue.

Do I interpret that to mean there will be two different jumpers produced? If so, wouldn't that diminish the value of the jumper?

Mind you, Rick Milne has a small piece each Saturday in The Age where he values sporting memorabilia. It's fair to say according to his advice that most sporting memorabilia produced today doesn't have much value, at least in a monetary sense. I also appreciate that many people buy memorabilia for the same reason they buy memberships - that is to support the club financially.

Appalling

  • CASEY: Sydney

The Casey Demons were always expected to emerge victorious in their matchup against the lowly-ranked Sydney Swans at picturesque Tramway Oval, situated in the shadows of the SCG in Moore Park. They dominated the proceedings in the opening two and a half quarters of the game but had little to show for it. This was primarily due to their own sloppy errors in a low-standard game that produced a number of crowded mauls reminiscent of the rugby game popular in old Sydney Town. However, when the Swans tired, as teams often do when they turn games into ugly defensive contests, Casey lifted the standard of its own play and … it was off to the races. Not to nearby Randwick but to a different race with an objective of piling on goal after goal on the way to a mammoth victory. At the 25-minute mark of the third quarter, the Demons held a slender 14-point lead over the Swans, who are ahead on the ladder of only the previous week's opposition, the ailing Bullants. Forty minutes later, they had more than fully compensated for the sloppiness of their earlier play with a decisive 94-point victory, that culminated in a rousing finish which yielded thirteen unanswered goals. Kicks hit their targets, the ball found itself going through the middle and every player made a contribution.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

Hands up if you thought, like me, at half-time in yesterday’s game at TIO Traeger Park, Alice Springs that Melbourne’s disposal around the ground and, in particular, its kicking inaccuracy in front of the goals couldn’t get any worse. Well, it did. And what’s even more damning for the Melbourne Football Club is that the game against St Kilda and its resurgence from the bottomless pit of its miserable start to the season wasn’t just lost through poor conversion for goal but rather in the 15 minutes when the entire team went into a slumber and was mugged by the out-of-form Saints. Their six goals two behinds (one goal less than the Demons managed for the whole game) weaved a path of destruction from which they were unable to recover. Ross Lyon’s astute use of pressure to contain the situation once they had asserted their grip on the game, and Melbourne’s self-destructive wastefulness, assured that outcome. The old adage about the insanity of repeatedly doing something and expecting a different result, was out there. Two years ago, the score line in Melbourne’s loss to the Giants at this same ground was 5 goals 15 behinds - a ratio of one goal per four scoring shots - was perfectly replicated with yesterday’s 7 goals 21 behinds.
This has been going on for a while and opens up a number of questions. I’ll put forward a few that come to mind from this performance. The obvious first question is whether the club can find a suitable coach to instruct players on proper kicking techniques or is this a skill that can no longer be developed at this stage of the development of our playing group? Another concern is the team's ability to counter an opponent's dominance during a run on as exemplified by the Saints in the first quarter. Did the Demons underestimate their opponents, considering St Kilda's goals during this period were scored by relatively unknown forwards? Furthermore, given the modest attendance of 6,721 at TIO Traeger Park and the team's poor past performances at this venue, is it prudent to prioritize financial gain over potentially sacrificing valuable premiership points by relinquishing home ground advantage, notwithstanding the cultural significance of the team's connection to the Red Centre?
