I'll take Garrys word over some of these 2nd rate journo's who were carrying on about this over the weekend.

Is he still 'well connected' at the club?

I think people need to let this one go.

I was suggesting that Gary's judgement is not without flaw Mr Land. His opinion on Bennells calf is no better than many others. Simply because he is an x champion / captain of the MFC does not IMP make him any more credible than numerous others in the media.

What if Garry is good mates with Dr Peter Brukner and gets the medical diagnosis first hand?

“I believe the calf is not as bad as some doomsayers are suggesting and that he may be running as early as tomorrow,” he (Garry Lyon) told SEN Breakfast.

“He’s still got a lot of work to do obviously, he’s a mile away from getting back into it.

“There were reports when he did the calf that this what it and it was the end and all that sort of stuff, but it’s my understanding that he could be running tomorrow.”

Media reports that said calf injury is not as bad as that reported by media. I'm glad we cleared that up.

Actually, back in the day, all songs performed on TOTP had to be re-recorded at the BBC studios. Musician's Union rules at the time. The vocals were then done live over this re-recorded backing. Sometimes, BBC engineers were known to slip off to the pub during these "re-recording" sessions, which would then miraculously end-up sounding identical to the record/vinyl.

Thanks for enlightening me Bing. I didn't know that.

Well Sen should sack him then! obliviously knows nothing about football. Anyway Garry took it on the advice of Mick Malthouse, that Neeld would make a excellent coach, and who would doubt Malthouse Neeld was the midfield coach of their premiership team. I bet you were, one of the ones to cheer his heavy handedness towards the players.

You will not find that comment from me. History shows he was an unmitigated disaster. This all started because someone said they trusted Garry Lyons opinion more than most media commentators. I just don't believe this is necessarily so. End of story.

Isn't hindsight of wonderful thing that's where you live,so anytime you don't agree with Gary, you just going to bring that up again to reinforce your ordinary argument, that's why they called cheap shots cheap

Anyway,  this morning Tim Watson asked Gary if he has had recent contact the Harley, and Gary said he is in personal contact with Harley, so don't agree with you, no! I use facts and listen from the people first hand,  not from a opinion  with prejudice, it's not a opinion. So look outside and if it's raining you can't say no it's not raining, but I am not wrong it's just my opinion, no your wrong.

MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
