Are you an umpire? Or related to one?

Yes we make skill errors but we have to do so much more with decisions that are paid against and not paid for us. If the umpiring was better then skills would be the only issue to worry about but sadly that’s not the case.

Quit while you are ahead.

Umpires have nothing to do with effort and skill.

Been saying for ages now we need players with some silky skills. As soon as it got wet the skills of Tigers stood out. We are bad  enough in the dry however when wet it just gets worse. Endeavour etc. is there but we just lack players with any skills and for that mater Brains.

they won't escape that this week. the true downside is that we might have to listen to Viney speak.

Oh no! I didn't see your post before I wrote mine. I'm so sorry. Your baby is scarred for life.

Gosh even in Primary school my coach taught me to get the ball moving forward at any opportunity in the wet.  Surely all players who reach the AFL and play for us know this by now???  Or is it just the ones that come to our club??

We lucky in a sense that Richmond are either off tonight or are just in cruise control.

Should be 10 goals down

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
