Personally, I think people who try to impress using big or unusual words are quite oleaginous.

I can tell you're a wannabe deipnosophist. But frankly I'm applying a bit of floccinaucinihilipilification

Woman's suit with a skirt? I have no idea what you're talking about Daisy. A skuit is a type of boat in Afrikaans.

Pfft still 69 days to go....that sucks.

Okay so here's the truth - or one of two truths.

I use to live in the Kurringal Flats in Darwin. Known as one of the foremost slums of Australia as made famous by A Current Affair. My neighbours would quite often ask me for money,  for 'lady in the boat'. It took some months before I realised that they were asking for cash for a box of Coolabah wine. Skuit (or lady in a boat as above) became my name thereafter.

Or:

I used to live in Cambodia, known as one of the sexpat capitals of the world. I would quite often go to girlie bars, where the female hosts would respond to my outrageous sexual requests by saying that I was ch'goot, or 'crazy' in the Khmer language. It took some months before I realised what they were saying, and then I took on 'skuit' as a transliterated moniker thereafter.

One night I came home a bit drunk with three of them and I've got to say it was like winning Tattslotto.

We all got undressed and there were six matching balls.

This printer was next to my computer back in the day ?

Guess i'm not the creative type...

Epson printers (the Stylus in particular) were all the rage back in the day, but don't seem to be as in vogue in 2019.  Just a casual observation, no analogy/offence intended @Stylus.

Before I get banned it is a real name of a real person

I first joined the old Demonland around 2001. I was 16 and was a fan of the hip hop group Bone Thugs N Harmony. I named myself after one of the group members 'Layzie Bone', as a matter of fact my name on the old Demonology forum was Layzie_bone.

I'm a person of many music tastes most notably hard/alternative rock and metal and I still do like hip hop but it has been a very long time since I listened to BTH!

Having said all that I can't change my name now, I'm a 1 name player.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
