It's KK47 or I riot.

Or KK62. A machine gun packs a punch!

Mur doc - I like what you say there. Kelly? We'll have a place on our list for him.

I'd even give him the number that is popular down here at Lorne which is #69.

Players wear it with pride and attitude.

Good question, I am not sure.

Perhaps rather a Jinx.

Aside from Dennis Cordner way back in the ether, there have not been many great successes at the Club in this jumper. Certainly not in the last 50 years.

For me, Jesse's time in that jumper was a disappointment.  And it spent a considerable amount of time in the locker.

Sorry, but I don't understand where you are comming from with either of these statements.

Jessy's performance for a guy of his age would be top 5% in the league for a key forward.

He had practically one season out of 4 or 5 where he had a stuffed back and a dog of a year last year (but still played 10 games).  Asides from that he has played around 20 out of 22 games per season.

Personally I'm just disappointed that he isn't performing for us in it as both he and the team hit peak maturity and performance.

I like the idea of May in number 1.

Reminds me of the days of 98 when Shanners was the full back. He will be always a Saint historically but I always had a soft spot for him.

What about 12 for Preuss? The locker next to Gawn!

theyd have to expand the locker sizes no way those two boys r gonna be able to live side by side for the next 4 years without getting in each others way. theres a reason the reserve ruckmen r always in the high lockers no one is around them!!

May has been told by Goody he may play forward. So No.1 is obvious but no pressure.

1 May...... Mayday.  That's your nickname

I recon Weid deserves a higher jumper number of his choosing.  Also sends a bit of a message that 'you da man'!

I'd be reluctant to give him 1 though, unless he had his heart set on it.

Leave the numbers alone.

Hurrah moving from #48 jinxed him!

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
