Pretty sure the whole squad of 40 would be there, even the interstaters.

do you prefer Oliver's suit buttoned up, or Gawn a bit more free flowing mate?

I am not sure, as I have quite literally zero fashion sense.

Interesting that the kit is MFC prescribed, but just like on gameday, the boots are "bring your own".

You don't think you might be just a little biased?

If you are referring to the AA selection this year, then absolutely not.

If you are referring to the list of career achievements, I actually reigned them back in a bit after my first draft ?

Well he is not in the midfield. Maybe will get on the bench.

Absolute [censored] joke. But then look at the selectors.

Was always going to be on the bench. He is in most people’s AA team.

Why jaded? He is competing against a large number of very good players. Supporters almost always think their players are the best when quite often they are somewhat less.

You think Dangerfield has had a better season than Oliver, or that his punchable head is in because he’s a “big name”?

I can see why Gawn might as he has been the stand out Ruckman this year but why Clarry?

yes he has had a good year for us but in the position he plays there are a large number of very good players.

It is like the Mid fielders award there are some very good players scoring votes every week.

3rd for total disposals, 2nd for contested posessions, 3rd for total tackles, 7th total inside-50s, 5th for clearances, 5th for score involvements.

Your inside midfielders this year are Patrick Cripps, Tom Mitchell, Clayton Oliver and fresh air.

Worth noting that Oliver has both of those two well covered for tackles. And score involvements, too, though that's hardly fair on Cripps, playing for Carlton and all.

Dustin Martin has not had a better year than Oliver. Got in on his name

lol, Ben Brown will be on the bench next to Clayton Oliver, both sitting there going 'what the fork do I have to do?'

Gunston wasn't a great choice. How Devon Smith didn't start I'll never know

Making an All Australian bench is still making All Australian. It’s nothing to scoff at.

    TRAINING: Friday 28th February 2025

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers headed down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you their observations from today's training session before the Demons head off to Perth for their final Practice Match. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Beautiful morning, not much wind, more than a couple of dozen spectators.  The players were up and about, boisterous and having fun. One of their last drills were three teams competing in a hard at it, handball game in a small area. Goody

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the

We'll break down the Match SIM against North Melbourne and wrap up the preseason with insights into training and our latest recruits. I apologize for skipping our annual season review show at the end of last season. After a disapponting season filled with off-field antics and a heated trade week, I needed a break.
