Loving the indigenous jumper!

Anyone know if Dees are planning to wear it for tonights game? Would be such a shame if Jeff has missed out on wearing his Aunties design again....?

Yep.  We wore it in Alice Springs, which technically was the weekend before Indigenous Round.  we didn't wear it again on Indigenous Round, with the word being we'd wear it again in Darwin, instead.  So, Jeffy gets his chance to strut his stuff in it...

Fair effort from VDB to get 17 touches in 2 quarters after a year and 3/4 out of the game.

Agree, and 14 of those 17 were contested.  Great comeback by him.  Terrific reward for all his hard work and perseverance.

Surely JKH must get a crack at it before its too late.

too small and slow to play midfield and not skilled or quick enough as a small forward option

avb will, on this form, be playing afl before the year is out

AVB...maybe..the slow conditions today suit him. Let's wait to see some dry weather form

Weather and ground like this, the game could almost have been called off.

No benefit and potentially dangerous.

I've really liked the game of no.4 Lockhart. Anyone know his story?

Has rebounded really well from defense with pretty nice disposal considering the conditions. Attacks every contest.

Georgia is a seriously beautiful country. Tbilisi is known as the new Prague.

Wonderful value as well.

Stalin wouldn't hear a bad word about it.

I've got Georgia on my mind.

In their museum they have a whole floor entitled " The Soviet Occupation".

Not much love lost these days with the Russian government.

I could not help but think of the parallels between Stalin, Adolf and for that matter Napoleon. All from other countries become dictators of the adopted country.

AVB is on a mission. What a bull!

Don't mind him getting caught holding the ball if he looks like breaking the lines which is most of the time.

has played really well in the 3 games I've seen this year. potential rookie option I think

Oskar Baker is a great size to go with his explosive speed.  Powerful unit.

Think he will debut vs the Dogs next week.

And that’s it - they remain goalless and Casey win again

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
