Gawn, Oliver and Hogan surely will all be in the AA team.

Pretty sure the MFC has never had three All Australians in the same season, this could be the year.

Max and Clarry for sure..been fantastic all year. Hogan..ma ma hu hu !! Bit up...bit down. Probably others more consistent.

Won't have played enough games and taken the choccies.

He'll be similar..imho...to Hogan. Obviously good...but that AA possie will go to someone (s) with better, longer, more consistent seasons.

brayshaw might go close too if he keeps killing it with maxy..even after missing those early season games

I'd be happy with Gawn & Oliver. Anybody else would be very lucky, although we are owed a few from previous years.

Hopefully both Gawn & Grundy make the team - both should be in the first five picked.

Gawn and Oliver in AA EOY side.

Hogan and Jetta in squad of 40.

Jetta has been down on last year obviously, but i'd have him just off the 40. I know he does so many elite things, but i've felt he's been off a pace in regards to his on on one contests. I hope he's not slowing down with age, given we signed him for until 2021. Probably just had a few heavy knocks this year i think.

I think at the time of my post he was a lock AA40 and many experts had him in the AA18, however he has definitely slowed up in recent weeks. I remember he got a bad head knock in I think the Port Adelaide game? He certainly gives his all, one of my favourites. In the Geelong game he was the only one trying to spoil Tuohy. I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I think when Jetta slows down he'll slow down quickly, no doubt he plays sore for 23 weeks a year. I tossed up the idea of finding a replacement for Jetta as I think he'll fade away, I'm surprised the club decided on 3 years though, 2 would've made more sense, just like Lewis. I agree Jetta is down on last year, Hibberd also.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
