Just checking the obits to see if he's killed anyone yet.

He’s coping a heavy tag from a rookie listed hawks player so I’m expecting it soon

Be sure to check all surnames - Hawks and Demons!

I’ve been trying to listen on the radio, but the commentary/stand-up comedy routine is doing my head in.

Me too, I am turning it off.

I was about to post something very similar

I don’t care how many touches he gets, just want him to get through unscathed.

Any updates?

It hasn't changed in that respect, probably gotten worse if anything.

The barrels were great but the ground was a bog......

Beautiful kick by Garlett to set up a goal after the siren for Angus Scott

Casey lead 4-4-28 to Hawks 3-2-20

Garlett prominent, T.Smith great. Keilty best quarter he’s played all year. Stretch and JKH better.

Viney spent about half the quarter on the bench and gets a heavy tag as soon as he steps foot on the ground, so he wasn’t in much. But what he was in was spectacular and he is just a class above.

Hunt quiet.

QT 28 - 20 Casey leading

How’s jack going? I’m as nervous as I would be if it was my first born running around out there?

Sorry for late reply my phone reception is playing up today out here

Box Hill are good but Casey are holding on well. Casey 4-4-28 to BH 4-3-27

BULL!!!! Tim Smith with a MASSIVE screamer on the wing to set up a shot at for Johnstone, who misses

Casey getting on top with Pedo marking and goaling from the top of the goal square

Casey 6-5-41 to BH 4-3-27

Half time Casey lead 6-6-42 to BH 5-5-35

Viney getting more involved and is just a beast around stoppages despite the tag. Garlett playing really up forward as is Pedo and Bull. Stretch and JKH better then previous weeks. Frost, Petty and Keilty all combining well in defence (Dec in particular has been great) Wagner and J.Smith better that quarter. Baker okay.

Hunt and Johnstone have been poor. Anyone I missed?

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
