Whispering_Jack 31,362 Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 Sam Weideman with five goals, at least two goal assists and some solid work as #2 ruckman has put his hand up for selection with Melbourne next week. 1 Quote

Leoncelli_36 2,264 Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 Great to have a big win like this to start the season and great to hear that a few blokes are giving the coaching staff something to think about. However, sounds like a pretty ordinary opposition. Often that works against blokes looking to break into the 1s. Coaches may want to see 2 quality games before promoting a player. Nevertheless, fantastic to hear that we have a few likely types out there. 2 Quote
KC from Casey 7,211 Posted April 8, 2018 Author Posted April 8, 2018 Maynard who has been playing well goals but the Lions reply - 142 to 60. 1 Quote

Defence hasn’t been troubled really, but he’s won the one on ones, can turn on a 20 cent piece for a tall kid and uses the ball well with both feet. Edited April 8, 2018 by Demon77 7 Quote
KC from Casey 7,211 Posted April 8, 2018 Author Posted April 8, 2018 Cam Pedersen joins the list of goalkickers (there are now 13) and the lead is 88 points. 2 Quote

We need another lock down big defender, even if he isn't ready for the seniors until next year. 2 Quote

Forest Demon 4,681 Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 I've got no idea about Balic. Where is he playing? Whose role in the senior side would it compare to? Quote
