I was there when Ivor Warne Smith won a Brownlow.  You get to my age quite easily if you have a teenage daughter. I must be one hundred and forty seven at least. That's how old I feel.some days.

Looking forward to OD's input !

Didn't he also kick the longest kick recorded in the VFL/AFL?

Long kicks.

This year Josh Kennedy, who's missed a few games, is leading the Coleman Medal race with 64 goals. I miss the days of key forwards regularly kicking over 100 in a season.

well he wouldn't be far off it with 1 game to go, 5 missed games and potentially finals games

But still didn't get to a 100 goals for a season!!

He kick 97 from 14 games got suspended for 4 games so 14  pretty hard to kick 100 from 14 games

Does anyone know which, of the two pubs in Apollo Bay, Fred owned?

The top pub, opposite the post office. Or what used to be the post office.

I'm guessing it's either apartments or a restaurant that charges $25 for a parma.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
