I thought that as well. Can't recall another. I straight wondered why no one got around him afterwards.

Vince to Trelor in the last. He is keeping them in it.

Come the [censored] on!!!!!!

Well we have the momentum going into the final quarter. Trelor's miss was huge.

Seriously those calling the game over early in that quarter or even in the second need to take a chill pill!

Give em hell demons!!!

Damn it's even Stevens now... if we could of kicked another (without their point) we would of broken them

Great Third Q. Now let's win a close one at the "G"

Treloar will be too quick for Vince. If i was going to tag him i would put Viney on him.

We've still got another gear to go imo. Great to see Oliver back into it, Viney did some good work and Salem off half back was dangerous.

Say one thing for our club this year, say that we're never out of a game.

Great fightback but the big test is the next 30 minutes.  Win and we're in the 8, lose and we're just another one in the pack.

Jones chased him hard.

"Melbourne's Clayton Oliver has six disposals at 100 per cent efficiency in the last ten minutes to be a key to the Demon's comeback"

Done not too much all day, but when needed the kid rises up. Give him a couple more seasons to get his tank 100% and develop his outside game and he'll be the champion mid we have so long been needing

Wow 15 contested marks to 3 this game. Yet we continue to bomb it

god we're going to be unbeatable when we string 4 qtrs together.

we're doing what good sides do and never let them get away from us even when we're not dominating

But can we keep it up? Stopping Treloar would be useful.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
