We have: 29, 31, 36, 47 and 66.

They have: 41, 42, 57, 60 and 79.

I doubt we will use 66 even if Garland retires. We are better off having a look at delisted free agents, the preseason draft or an extra rookie and then having flexibility to promote one of them.

66 I'd suggest is on the table but the Dockers will want more. So we can do 47 down to 57 or 36 down to 42 or similar but ideally it comes with a 3rd party who might be keen on taking on later picks to move one our picks up the order.

My hope is that we turn 29 and 31 into a first rounder. Turn 66 into Balic. And take a first rounder, pick 36 and pick 47 to the draft.

31 a late pick yeah? Or is 31 a top end pick? We've been bent over in every deal this year and a few last year..may the trend continue

According to you. if hogan left,  you're saying 2 first rd picks are too much for us to ask? Because that's what your saying.

You either have no idea or are just making [censored] up to suit your butt hurt agenda

2nd rd pick is not a late pick.

Im sick of dumb opinions

how am I butt hurt? The MFC created a buyers market for Watts, ousted him publicly and got a crappy pick 31 for him, in a weak draft. These are facts, not agenda driven opinion. Adelaide fans are stoked that we have given them 2 first rounders for Lever, a player they consider to be selfish and who plays for himself. It's a late second round pick ...31 that is...don't forget compo picks slide in and push this pick higher...

So, we are getting the deal done for Balic for pick 66 yeah? You reckon that is happening? What is the delay ? Why not do it yesterday? What did it have to do with waiting on what we got for Watts? Remember what we gave for Melksham?...cmon mate, be a realist, we may have landed what we wanted in the last few trades and drafts, but we have assisted other clubs with the picks we have given up.

JW was completely different to the Lever trade.

Lever is a 21 yo AA player. Equivalent to hogan in value.

Your opinion is clearly based on emotions or you have no idea

Great get for pick 66. As I said in this thread yesterday, if he can stay healthy and have consistency in his life, he could become an asset for us. Welcome to the club Harley!

Pick 66 is a great deal for Balic.  Thought Freo might be real pains about it but we've done well here.

I think Freo just wanted to get it out the way, they have at least 3 other deals they need to close in 24 hours

.... please stop with the crap! he's a fringe player at the team that was in the bottom 4.

Balic is untried, and has been bought into the team for Depth.

No need to compare him with Watts, stupid comment to make!

I actually suspect an in-principle deal was made in good faith between the clubs at the beginning of the trade period for Fremantle to receive our highest inactive pick at its conclusion - with the Watts hold-up related to what we could/would do with the returned pick.

I base this suspicion on very little evidence.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
