Anyone who said after the Richmond loss that injuries aren't an excuse (I believe the phrase was 'coulda shoulda woulda') needs to explain to me how a side as talented as GWS are trailing a side as middle of the road as St Kilda?

Ill accept your apologies in both written and verbal forms.

We showed (v Toiges) just how hard it is to win with two men down from half time.

A shame GWS weren't able to hold on with the two men down. This is a blow for our finals campaign, as we're fighting with Saints for 8th spot and need all the luck we can get. We're going to need to win the ones we should from here on in and pluck a few surprise wins like GWS have tonight if we're going to make it.

Hopefully we belt the Hawks tomorrow and build percentage!

Yup, GW$ reduced rotations and losing a defender has hurt, and now their early good run with the maggots is getting the 'evener-upper'.

I can't believe I agree with BT - all they need to do is slow it down for the next two minutes and GW$ will struggle to get it done with under 4 minutes to go.

Never minded the sub rule.Helped avoid situations like this and us against Richmond. In fact, two subs even better. Few games then decided by injury/lack of rotation imbalance.*If subs unused they could be released to play at VFL when possible.

Calm down LT, we hold our own chances in our hands. Long season.

I agree. We don't rely on others if we are going to succeed.

The Aints have played well and deserve the win

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
