Agree with this post in its entirety.

It's almost like they've never heard of Hodge and Mitchell.

Or more likely have an idea and can see that he lacks the other attributes that these players have which makes up for their lack of speed.

What is Jack Trengove elite at?

Bit like Mr 2 goal 'didn't look like missing' Spencer

Attacking a posters view without offering your own again beyond " FD might see it differently"

how do you see that issue being improved?

if it's easy to improve why has he not to this point been able to do it?

Trenners will always be painfully slow, it cant be improved and he wont help us at AFL level unless we lost a bunch of inside mids to injury.

Saty just blindly defending every player as usual while telling the other person they cant have an opinion.

I'd suggest the FD see it exactly as I do, because he hasn't played in the 1's all year.

I get it guys - I WANT Trekkers to be a star. He deserves it. I'm just judging it purely on the evidence I see. I hope he proves me wrong :)

So how many times 'live; this year, I have watched him numerous times at training

Hibberd looking solid. Not a big game but has done nice things. Took a courageous goal saving mark just before 3QT.

Rose coloured glasses I'd say saty, pretty hard to miss the lack of speed.

I have also seen him 6 times love this year but have this wonderful ability to have a balanced view on players without letting emotion dictate that opinion.

Resounding reply.

Maybe contextualise all of what I've posted.

So what?  You still didn't answer his question about how he can improve it.

On that quarter, Pederson looks to be in some form and is almost inrecognisable with his streamlined physique.

Hibberd very rusty, Brayshaw and Trengove good, but not great.

Trengove is getting the ball but having little impact on the game, I think he will really improve as a player when he is more attacking with his ball use, he is a beautiful kick and very smart

What position does he play? His inside game is average, he can't break the lines, his possessions don't hurt.

I don't understand why you mention him in the same sentence as Lewis and Hodge.

Lewis is probably almost as slow as Trengove, but he can make decisions a lot faster, dispose of the ball quickly and is a much smarter player so can get away with it.

Pedersen is a VFL player.  Can't believe people get excited by someone who is OK at this level.  He's not a key position AFL forward.

Hibberd looking like he's close to being ready.

Trengove makes good decisions.

Brayshaw better than VFL footy, but happy for him to stay there as long as required.

So what?  You still didn't answer his question about how he can improve it.

He has been doing one on one training, and he was doing a couple of interesting drills, so I asked him what they were for and they are for burst speed, he is never going to be Jayden Hunt but a full pre season and the one on one training and who knows

We always want to write off players on here, true he hasn't been getting a game at AFL level at the moment and has obviously been told to work on things, if he gets a game it means he has improved those things

Is Trengove at the huddle yet?

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
