I am not saying that TPF39 but I am of the opinion that he is finished as a regular player in the senior team.

IMO the only thing that will get him a regular spot in 2018 is a long list of injuries and I am not sure even that will get him a game.

The FD will be looking to the future.

newer recruits will get games because they are the future potential players when we are playing finals.

Seems to be a great guy but sadly from the terrible past.

Sadly, that was probably the outlook for his 2017 as well.

Humphrey will hang around on the lti list and maybe get another 50- 80 games on veteran contracts if he is lucky . Done it hard so Icantbegrudge the year off.

It's only time for Colin if he says so.  It was the club that signed him for the period it did.  Not honouring the contract or forcing an early termination - even if it is a settled outcome - is not a position I'd even contemplate if I were in charge.  You look after your players and you honour your commitment, end of story.

As for Col, I'm gutted for him.  I've made no secret of having a soft spot for the guy, and this just seems like such a kick in the teeth when he was already coming from so far behind.  That's footy though I guess.

The same Armstrong who played 36 games in three seasons at WCE and was delisted when just 24 years old..?

Very astute Rogue . A very  inspired move by Armstrong indeed. Dante nailed it. Makes you wonder why Col hung around for so long. Was bound to end in tragedy.

Range Rover. Thredbo. Taking a swipe at Watts in your very first post in a thread on Allen Jackovich. And now 'Melbourne with their list'. I'm pretty certain you're not Paul Roos so my guess is a sad little troll.

Hi Skuit,

Thanks for your judgements. Your otherwise highly agreeable and submissive posts over your 1345  Demonland  career would make your post regarding me  pretty unfamiliar territory & new ground for you. A much needed first for you. High five!

This is the second serious injury for Col and he fought back from the first one, a  foot injury that kept him out for 2 years, so he's a fighter and may still be able to come back from this.

I'd say he will give it his all and if that's good enough then great, if not then he can look back on a very solid AFL career. If Bly he'd started his career now and not in the, Dark Times.

Cool. So are you a Demons' fan? I've never heard anyone using 'their' as a pronoun to reference the team they support.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
