What would your best revenge against the saints be?

I'm sick of this mob bitching us around for a decade.  They obviously don't respect our jumper, and why should they?  We've given them all the treats they need.

I want to smash these punks next time in front of 30+ thousand dees supporters, at the G, their Saint Nick can do a knee, Tim Membrey can kick 1 goal 5 and Nate Jones can BOG it.

In my dreams!

That it came out in tomorrow's papers they were involved in another sex scandal

Lol, this is a bit of a sad thread, but they're such an ordinary football club and losing them is pitiful.

As Nash said, winning would do me fine at the moment. I'd rather win on Etihad, rather than the 'G.

I think Roo and montagna will hang them up at the end of 2017.

I would like to play this mob at the MCG for their farewell game, and give them one hell of a hiding. They may have enjoyed a decade of dominance,  but will forever remember the dees spoiling their send off!!

I think there's a good chance that after playing us, they'll think they're a whole lot better than they actually are and wonder why they get smashed in every other game this season. Do they play Brisbane?

How about playing them away from that cesspit at Docklands, fricking hate that place

It's not a sad thread, it's trying to look forward with some fun.

1 more loss at Edihad about round 16ish next year. Then we finish 6th them 7th. An Elimation final battle of the up and comers at the MCG. Melbourne down by 4 points with 2 min on the clock McCartin takes a massive mark goes back and hits the post. Melbourne goes end to end and CP5 slams through a beauty from about 35 out and we stready the ship hold on to end their streak at 15 with the 1 game the actually would've wanted to win.

Too much?

I'm visualising this thing of beauty?

So which end does Petracca kick the winning goal at? Punt Rd or City end?

Just has to be to the punt rd end doesnt it? Right over the demon army, maybe on a 45ish degree angle, low bullet about half goal post height. Coming from the members wing side of the ground. Man I just cant wait :P

Just beat them.

Revenge is like throwing sand at someone upwind.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
