Premiership players all have weapons to contribute. Hunt has weapons good kick, can mark, good courage for a light body, but his weapon is his speed for both attack and defence. A couple of years and he will be burning.

I am thrilled for Jayden, as I was one if his early supporters. Could end up a gem for us.

Wagner too, I was very conserned about our HBF at the start of the year but with both of these guys showing heaps,a Salem who is ill, bernie who just 40+ and a White in the VFL who i keep hearing good things suddenly the rebound is there we just need them to keep developing. Wagner, OMac and Salem all have good disposal Frost, TMac and Hunt all bring speed and athleticism. They might be inconsistant and a developed KPD to lend a helping hand would be nice, but i think this defence is looking alot better for the future than some people think.

I agree.

With the Weed and the 2 Kings to come in the forward line and Jeffy to return and then with Pedo and maybe Hulett who could both add to either end, we are strengthening both ends of the ground. Add Gus to the middle and we are starting to assemble a decent side.

And don't forget, like him or not, Milkshake will be available next year presumably earmarked as a defender with disposal skills.

Give it a rest now OD we know your opinion      he will have served "his time"   as Paddy Ryder said at the weekend, yes perhaps they should have questioned more   but if you have been with a club for a few years after arriving as an 18 yr old you tend to trust what you are told

I thought Chris Dawes was very good today, He did what he had to do and there is no doubt in  my mind that we look a better side with Dawsy in it!

Best game he's played for the club old flat hands went really good.

There already a decent side they just know it yet some of the passages of play yesterday was scintillating .

Humour?

Not the 60th time around.

It's boring.

If it is a problem for you that is unfortunate

Or Salem...the forgotten one of late.

...vs Ess 2014 we were a few points down and he nailed it...had only played a handful of games...Roos said he was delighted the ball was with him, he is such a beautiful kick.

I reckon that win over Adelaide when he kicked 3 was Dawes's best game for the club.

Kent is frustrating - so much potential, exciting when he gets it and runs but makes a load of mistakes. Hopefully he irons them out.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
