I'm not buying this. Yes a few supporters have been scathing of watts over the years but most have been incredibly patient. This is evidenced by the joy everyone has in seeing him finally perform. Most demons fans have had reason to be frustrated with him but at the same time have continued waiting for him to come good. So heres cheers to all of us. To Jack for continually trying against a relentless media. The Mfc who has had faith in him. All the supporters like me who have had faith that one day this guy would play the footy he is today.

Tear the tiges up jack, with rance to hoges & astbury to pedo/frost......  Who goes to watts? They'll probably think they can get away with a smaller opponent on him tonight. Could be another big game for killer!!

Some here have been far more 'patient' with Jack than others.

I reckon we got the right bloke at pick 1. Always have. Pity many supporters and the media reached their verdict 1/3 the way into his career.

    Demonlander The Analyser was the sole Trackwatcher out at Casey Fields today to bring you the following observations from this mornings preseason training session. Training  was at Casey today. It consisted of a match simulation for one half  and then a free choice activity time.     Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

    Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years.
