Thank you guys. This is so great. I didn't expect this and will be forwarding some on to Nasher for all the hard work he does for this site. Anytime I break something he fixes it so show him some love.

I'm overwhelmed by the generosity of Demonlanders.

Full disclosure. The hosting and the software and support and various other third party apps and services costs over $2000 and that doesn't take into account the personal time Nasher & myself put in to this.

I may keep the donations link up after it hits this target.

Its now $1041.  Well done guys.  But no need to stop there.  This site is a lifeline to many of us in a sometimes crazy world.

I'm in for $50 too.

Thanks to the Admin and posters for the ongoing management, insight and entertainment.

Cheers

Honestly, when I think of all the hours of effort Nasher and Andy put into this site over the years   last decade or more, including WJ's and others contributions, the entertainment and knowledge re: our club it's given me, contributions like this to help them out just makes sense with thanks. Well done Demonlanders so far.

Andy shouldn't have to feel "eeeek" by pushing the contribution wheelbarrow, so let's make it easy for them with continued thanks.

Reckon you are well into - or even past - PhD status by now.

Well done Dr Andy and assistants.

I have an idea

Despite dippin's me hand in pocket  and casting a few more shekels  D'land's way  I see they are still short of ideal.

As this is December...the month of Christmas  I thought Id do a little something to help  ongoing...at least for a while

It's nothing big, nor anything particularly outrageous or taxing.

Every week I will donate a coffee...well its' value ( $5 )  and I'll keep doing that until we can all get this across the line

I'm sure if enough of us can forego just one coffee a week we'll smash that 2000 mark in no time

Who's with me ?

Nearly there......only $164 until we reach the target of $2,000.

A bit more would be nice so that Andy and Nasher can make further improvements without having to dip into their own pockets.

I would like to make a contribution. My previous donations have been with PayPal. Does the donation process take me through to PayPal or other payment method?

Edit, OK worked it out.  Just pushed it over 2g's.

Thank you everyone. You are all very generous and I really do appreciate it. We've pretty much covered the costs of running the site for this year in a week.  Thank you.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
