Oh so positive OD. I will get you appointed to the Cheer Squad.

Am I wrong?

Some of you are jellybacks.

Go through the big fish thread and see how many times you and dazzle posted give me a break .

About what ?

I don't even recall seeing you before.

The only thing this club can trade for is draft picks it's pathetic Roos hasn't landed a big fish since he got here and nothing will change in the next 2 weeks well the good clubs scoop the pool, it's just taken us 10

Years to beat Geelong and in one trade period the [censored] pricks have gone strait past us again what's the point.

Hogan, Brayshaw, Petracca, Tyson, Gawn

These are guys you can build a club around. Start to show something and then land the "big fish" no point getting someone in who will past their use by by the time we are seriously challenging. Will be a waste of ours and their time as much as we would like to see them in the red and blue.

EDIT: Add Salem, Viney, Kent etc as well

Yes, this has all got very arze about. His manager slyly runs that out about destinations etc and hasnt been pulled up on it.., well publicly. Im sure the club has a differing outlook.

that's right. the only ones who can "nominate" are free agents

getting sick of everyone thinking they can act like a free agent

You can add Tom Mac and N Jones too. And I reckon Garlett is almost as important as the other ten

It's a bit like that isn't it

Look up our previous CEO on Google. Not a word since he left the club in Tatters

I always knew it would be a long climb out of the swamp, but not this long.

Footy will lose its shine if half the comp become irrelevant...

We really needed that one big name....Then the boulder starts moving...

You're still going on about the old CEO???

Mate, let it go, you will give yourself a heart attack.

I did it a few weeks ago, still kicking myself.

Umm who was he again?

What about Matt Rosa WCE for a few years?

Can see the logic in @WestCoastEagles Matt Rosa seeking opportunities elsewhere. Deep mid, could be a bernie vince type move

Would love to have him..... not sure what we could give with all the other deals we are trying to do.

Rosa could be a good move based on what we are thinking in the draft. If it is Parish, I dont really see us taking Rosa as we (hopefully) will be adding Kennedy to the midfield and rotation with Bugg and Melksham. If one of these falls over or we think we want Francis with pick 3, then maybe not a bad option.

Vince worked out well.

It sucked me in too.

It sucked me in too.

Why doesn't he just do what the other players are doing and say "I want out and go to Melb"?

That way we get it done this yr and don't risk being pants next season by some other club.

I'm "fascinated" by u too dazzle!!!!!!!

Rosa is turning 29 next year and he's the player West Coast chose with the pick 29 we gave them for Hightower (Paul Johnson).

It's a no from me as he's not our demographic.

So by next year, our midfield could consist of: Vince, Jones, Viney, Petracca, Brayshaw, Parish, Trengove, Tyson, VDB and Salem. Why are we recruiting another 3 midfielders in Melksham, Bugg, and Kennedy (in addition to other depth players such as Michie, Newton, ANB, Harmes and Stretch)? I know the midfield is important but geesh...isn't that a little excessive?

Is Dions manager doing this to force the issue this year?

seems that way.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.
