That ten year deal is looking poorer by the day.

No doubt the corrupt AFL will find a way to let Sydney out of the contract early. They will do anything to protect their beloved Swans

Do not agree C and B he gave them a number of years plus 2 flags.

Agree OD, if Hogan leaves after two flags, he'll have my begrudging blessing...

Particularly if offered a similar deal to Buddy.

The whole loyalty thing is bollocks in my eyes. It's their job and they have a short window to make it pay.

Any issue that affects the wider community will also affect the AFL community. Particularly considering the demographic of the players. Mental health issues, substance abuse, alcoholism, gambling, etc. Whatever Franklin's issues are, hopefully he can overcome them.

i am glad most of the posters on here have never had to deal with the black dog, it takes a long time, and learning but you never get totally right ,you just learn to cope with it,believe me it is real and shocking

Yeah absolutely identical. Clark left us as a FA after many years of kicking big bags of goals, helping us to 2 flags and we got band 1 compo when he left.

You mean like banning them from freely trading and reducing the COLA? Bit early to assume his contract will be dropped. Cut the guy some slack.

Keep fighting Barney.

There are moments of light in life that make it all worthwhile.

Sometimes everything seems futile and worthless but it is the struggle that counts.

I hope for Buddy to get well and return to the form of the glory days ( just not against us) I am indifferent to the consequences for Sydney of losing him. Nor could I give two hoots about how the AFL feel.
