He is a lot tougher than you. Have you played the game at all? You don't have to be a basher like you seem to want.

Jadk Watts is soft as butter. Always has been always will be.

Hope we have a trade lined up with him, and I believe we do. He is not part of our future.

I would like to know what has happened.
However some of these posts are absolutely disgusting. He is a human being and desreves to be treated as such.

I'll tell you 'Watts' going on - too many posters here are talking dribble. If this was anyone else in our side it would barely rate a mention.

Watts? Oh, it must mean he is going to be traded. Ridiculous.

The word is drivel...can we get it right please?

No one has said anything personal about Watts. Stop trying to make things up on the go.

He is a great bloke but a disappointing footballer.

He needs a new home.

Now was that disgusting at all?

Will be traded for whatever, or will be traded as part of an A++ level deal?

Something is brewing here.. I reckon it will be involved with a big name player.

I think Jack had a pretty decent year after he came back from dropping himself. I too think him being left out today might have something to do with a move.

It has to be the only explanation.

I wonder if Jack was at the game.

He was Chook, sitting with acouple of players

Even if that is so, it is poor form of the club to not let him play a final game for a club he has been extremely loyal to and has worked extremely hard with memberships and kids.

Just read the comments. She seems very believable to be honest. Apparently PJ said that his heart is not in it at the club anymore and have been disappointed with his output the last couple of weeks hence why they preferred to play Stretch Harmes Brayshaw ANB

Whether he's named as emergency, plays, doesn't play he is not the type of player that will take us forward. For all involved just get the trade done.

Watts is a perfect example of - we may have stalled his development by a year or two but we didn't stuff it. He had elite skills and footy smarts when we drafted him. Fast forward 6/7 years and guess what....he still has them.

Quick someone tell me he laid 7 tackles last week, getting tackled by Watts is like having a fly land on the back of your neck.

You know they don't count them unless it's a successful tackle right? If you grab a guy and he still gets a kick or hand pass, that's not tackle.

It has to be the only explanation.

I wonder if Jack was at the game.

The only explanation? Really? You can't think of any other possible reason?

Watts is gone, spoke to Jackson and Rawlings in the room - he didn't ask to be dropped, they're putting him up for trade because his heart isn't in it/his last month has proven that.

Source is directly from peter Jackson and Rawlings mouth.. I was there with my Dad who knows them.

They just said they're gonna put Jack out there and see if they can get anything for him and that just his attitude towards playing for the Dees has been disappointing and that's why they essentially dropped him from the 2s as well- and saying how having Harmes, White, Viney, Stretch etc were just a better fit in the team clearly, and no chance of picking up Yarran because he's too much of a risk to pick up.

Seeing wattsy in the rooms though, he gets on well with everyone but maybe he might also want a fresh start elsewhere and is happy to go up for trade. If no one wants him maybe it will be a reality check and get him to work harder.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
