We're just as likely to see this very same group pluck a great performance out of their arse as we are having any of those changes improve the side.

Ten changes or none, makes not a shred of difference to me.

In: Tyson, Salem

Out: Raffle it

I know, but I'm angry right now and the more we cull the better I feel.

I'm assuming you are not here. McDonald is the only thing between us and another 186. Some good tackling efforts by Harmes. Over reaction much!

Give the defenders a chop out, the ball coming in is so easy they have no chance.

True, but his blunders stick out and I'm frustrated.

Bit harsh on Michie. He has been one of our best.

WTF did Michie do wrong?

I've been channel surfing a bit but from what I've seen he's been quite good, running the ball forwards and hitting target, he's a nice kick.

What game did you watch? In our best 3 today.

He posted an updated version in the post above yours...

Is Tyson available for this week?

If he has a hammy we'll be lucky to see him again this season.

It was good to see Michie get a bit more of the ball today, but half his possessions seemed to miss the target. It'll be interesting to see next week.

Is Mitch White a chance for this week? Obviously the kid is not ready but he has been consistent at Casey, shown he has some AFL qualities and he could slot into Nev's back pocket. It's a nice time to give Mitch a look at the tempo of an AFL game at the end of the season so that he knows what it's going to take to make the grade in 2016.

Out: Lamumba (sorry bud we just need to give you a break. Maybe you can have the 'general'), Bail (some redeeming acts still can't save you. You have so much speed - you need to lead at the ball carrier), Jetta (you are too important to risk).

In: Tyson, Salem, Toumpas (see how he fairs against Carlton),

You don't win games with more than 4 changes. Consider yourself lucky others

Doesnt matter who lined up next week, Carlton don't want the win.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
