Wow and I thought I was cursed.....

I don't mind shelling out once a year, but hopefully its not too much to ask to be in the game at half time, this time round. Shelling out for it to be all over at half time is painful :.)

Not only that - I was at the 2001 Footy Park comeback v the Camry Crows but had to bail early.

I thought we played some outstanding footy on QB against them. I'm hoping no one in the team says we owe them before the game.

Dawes might come out and make a statement with his toothy Adelaide private school accent.

Sends a shiver down your spine.

The same hard hitting lingo used by Alexander Down Syndrome in 25 years of political flouncing, leading to zilch.

I haven't seen a live Dees victory since the 90s.

Thats gotta hurt, Skuit. Its going to be sweet next time for you thats for sure!

For me it was Vs. Adelaide at the MCG in 2005

I like the settled side , give the kids a chance and hopefully clunker/clanger Dawes can redeem.

If you wanted to start dropping blokes for errors etc last week we'd probably have Viney and Gawn v 22.

I haven't seen one ever.

Jeezus!

When an administrator of the clubs main online forum has never seen a win , I reckon that's as big a statement as ever in regards to this clubs recent history. FMD , this club needs to get its [censored] sorted.

I'm going to email the club and ask if they can wear 'Nasher' on their arms next week.

What a [censored] indictment.

It was made clear that he is regaining match fitness via Casey. He played around a half last week and has been named again this week.

I have no problem with this. As much as I want to see Salem in the senior side, it's best to be conservative.

Thanks mate - I've been a bit out of the loop so wasn't sure what's been going on. Have been pretty busy and not really inclined to seek out info on the Dees the last few weeks for obvious reasons so thanks for the heads up.

Such pessimism! There is every chance we will embarrass the Pies this week. Their form has been a bit shaky. Ours has been a little disappointing, I'll admit, but we have not lost five in a row.

Perhaps if we all say the board's prayer:

Our Nathan, who art in the middle,

Hallowed be thy game.Thy clearing run. Thy kick to Viney is direct, As in the game plan.Give us this day our Bernie Vince. And forgive us our turnovers,As we destroy them that wear black and white. And lead us not into hesitation, But deliver the ball quickly. For Hogan is the target,

The Demons, take the glory,

For ever and ever.

Amen

Haha that is brilliant just sent to my family.

Nasher, my heart broke when i read this.

We've all suffered but at least i got to enjoy the come back against freo in 2008 and the build up in 2000 and the delerium of the first 3 weeks the finals series.

When the ship turns i hope you're still on it.

I must admit, I'm pretty sure it isn't sinking.

Although it is pretty stagnant, adrift if you'd like, and i think our biggest risk is that at some point they'll decide to scuttle it.

    TRAINING: Wednesday 12th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock. HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. There’s a drill where Selwyn literally lies on top of Tracc, a trainer dribbles the ball towards them and Tracc has to g

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
