Why the [censored] do we always conceed with 29 seconds left on the clock?

I seriously am so fed up with this stupid brainfades.

Surely we give away more goals in the last 90 seconds of a quarter than any team in the history of the AFL.

why do we always - ALWAYS - leak a goal in the last minute??

and can something be done about the 'can't post as not enough time has elapsed' on this site? it's a real bugger during a live game!

Can someone explain what has happened to Tom McDonald ? Seems lost these past 3 weeks.

Without knowing or seeing much of Neal-Bullen at all, I am really interested in seeing how he adjusts to the pace of AFL footy after last weeks introduction.

Please give us more of your prophecies. Do we make the 8 next year?

rivers still a winging cry baby always maxs mark

Happy with that quarter, we are all over them but they will respond, can we go with them when they do?

Good quarter Demons.

Let's keep it going and smash this shitful football club.

EVERYBODY.......stop watching now, and start the week happy.

Amazing what happens when you play with spirit and run

Jeremy Howe 0 disposals... only one letting the team down.... come on Howe, lift.

Has brought the ball to ground in the forward line with a few attempted marks though. Nothing wrong with that.

Roos: Okay Max, today we need you to start holding those marks.

Gawn: Oh, I'm supposed to hold them? Why didn't you say so earlier?

That's why Roosy's paid the big bucks

Trav cloke ripped tmacs confidence a new one

Good improvement. Happy with that. Nice to see us play our own footy rather than stopping a side from playing theirs at the beginning of a game.

  • AFLW REPORT: West Coast

Melbourne’s response to last week’s heartbreak was emphatic, as the Demons delivered a statement win over West Coast at a windswept Casey Fields. All of the pre-match hype surrounded the coach’s box matchup of Mick Stinear up against his apprentice, Daisy Pearce along with the gloomy weather forecast. In the end, it was less about tactical chess and more about Melbourne’s relentless execution. With rain looming, the DeeArmy and early birds snapped up the best undercover viewing spots.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: West Coast

Epic battle alert.  This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coach’s showdown pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% win rate) against his protégé Daisy Pearce (16 games, 43.8%). Still early in her coaching journey, Daisy’s record doesn’t yet reflect her impact — but she’s already the best-performed coach at West Coast.Dais’ is mythic.  Like Katniss Everdeen, everyone either wants to kiss her, kill her (sporting metaphor) or be her.  Toothers Daisy Pearce is a role model, someone admired for their heart, humility and humour.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.
