Prestia trade aside, i wouldn't mind trying to get Gorringe. He's out of favour at the Suns and with Jamar on his last legs, we need someone to help out Max.

Ironically, "Olisik" liked this post...

Yes, let's all make posts about other people liking posts now....FML

anyone considering the Agrade mid Roosy alluded to might be Ollie Wines?

perhaps first pick and toumpas?

that could be dangermous munga

If someone could ban deeluded from making any future trade hypotheticals that'll be great..

what, you don't think maxxy has responded because of the criticism & pressure, this year, the last of his current contract?

Just stop..

Max ain't getting traded and that's simple.

I can see where se dee luded is coming from regarding trading Gawn.

He is out of contract and with his current form could hold us to ransom which could cripple our chances to secure more miss. We have Spencer Jamar and Pederson who can all ruck still on our list and I am sure they would al fill the void fine if Gawn is traded

Then you don't see the difference between 10 years of hell and 4 weeks of hope.

The last time we were decent we had White and before that Stynes.

max is the second best ruckman behind Goldstein in the comp.

He'd be a hell of a lot better ruckman if you didn't tap the ball to his feet........ Drives me nuts

At least he does it from 13 ft above the ground.

Jamar,bless him,is barely capable of 9 or 10.

If the comp only included the last months matches, then sure.

He's improved drastically but there are at least five I can think of that are still ahead of Max at the moment.

I thought I saw him do a few slaps backwards into the open yesterday from ball ups around the ground, the problem was our guys weren't there for what shold be a set play as he can dominate on the throw ups and throw ins, a la Sandy. We need to learn to rove to his potential dominance.

Fair comment Django - for the moment. But if Max continues his development and remains injury free , then he'll [censored] them all over the next year or so.

I hope he does BBO! But for the moment, it's a great run of form. Let's hope he can turn it into something more.

Plenty of chat today in footy media that Danger is about to sign with the Crows. If true, very happy to see Geelong miss out on another FA...Frawley being the other!

Yep. 2 years apparantly.

Would be ecstatic if this happened, not only to screw over Geelong for their laughable arrogance, but it would say a great deal about Dangerfield's character if he stayed true to his club after the events of the last month. I imagine he's going through a really difficult period at the moment, but after that match yesterday I reckon it'd be impossible to walk away. Rightly or wrongly, he would be derided by punters for walking out now.

Thatd be great. Hope Motlop leaves too and the bottom falls out of them

If Geelong don't get Danger, it leaves them cap space to go after another gun mid. Maybe Prestia and/or Treloar.

Never good to make life-changing decisions based on emotion. Whether Danger stays or goes I doubt it will be based on the events of the last month

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
