Strange. He was named on Thursday. Saty reported that he trained lightly today.

Maybe this knee injury is what has been holding him back?

the Ox said he's been carrying this for weeks and hence why he'll be rested

I can't fathom how Bail gets a game.

if I thought the same about Bail alone I'd be very happy. Unfortunately when I look through the list there's a few more than Bail

Barrett is a complete f-wit.

Jack Watts has played 100+ more AFL games than you Damien and would most likely be a far better journalist you pole smoking cretin.

wouldnt pizz on Barrett if he was on fire.

Fu#kwit of the highest order.

Geez

Tyson and Salem out now

Our injury list is brutal

It's a good thing our captain is as durable as he is.

I hope you were knocking on wood when you wrote that comment!

At least the Doggies were nice enough to leave Jack MacRae as emergency

Yeah that 1 goal loss in the dying moments last season was a complete blow out...

I'm referring to our record in the past 10 years, we've won once in the past 10 games.

The way Tyson has been playing don't think it will be a big loss tbh.

Probably be better for him to miss and try and get right.

Our depth is worse. Yes we can say those injured are "best 22" but Tyson, Viney, Salem, JKH, Kent , Frost , Petracca, they're all kids. Then Jetta then Dawes who is currently in a hole.

The thought did cross my mind but I've never been the superstitious type.

I reckon we'll be up and about on Sunday.

Reckon we've been prepping for this game for a couple of weeks

Hogan (rested) and Watts (enjoying his footy again).

Easy week on the track.

Visit from the Reverend.

All intended to get us over and freshened up after the "top teams patch"...

Should come out firing.

I dont see how Fitzy and Spencer can both play, we already have Pedo as forward/back up ruck

The team looks way too top heavy against a fast running side.....

Should come out firing.

We "should" have done a lot of things the next week after a belting but didn't.

Hope u r right Paul but I doubt it.

I think we will too, but we can't become the next Richmond. And by that I mean 1st qtr specialists. Top clubs don't have the luxury of picking which games they want to "get up for" they come prepared every week.

Bail as sub I guess. Makes some sort of sense. Leave the young players at Casey where they can have some wins. Bring on one of our best runners late even if his skills are dreadful.

Toumpas and Riley on the bench. 1 inside mid, 1 outside runner.

Fitzy down back will be interesting. Probably takes Cordy or Boyd. Frees up Dunn and Garland to stop the Dogs midfield options.

I'm not sure if Fitzy will or should 2nd ruck or if they'll leave that to Pedersen. I'd be inclined to leave Fitzy in the back 7 alongside McDonald, Dunn, Garland, Grimes, Lumumba and probably Howe.

Barrett is go get f#@/#ed

Wouldn't you just love to slap his stupid little glasses off his stupid little face?

What a diquehead. Accused Watts of chickening out of playing the Hawks.

As did posters on these forums.

Who?

MacRae is in the doghouse a bit over his defensive pressure. They want every player pulling their weight defensively. It's why Minson still can't get a game.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
