What a frustrating game.. we handball waaay too much when it should be a kick forward.

Our Casey players are the main culprits.

yeah bad bad overdone handball

its a wind game, why stuff around with silly handballs and short kicks

kick long, structure accordingly and maximise pressure on their backline. the goals will come

[censored] hopeless. We had an open player standing in the goal square and, while holding possession in our attacking 50, we handball to a player under pressure who gets tackled and forces a ball up.

Dean Terlich been taught a lesson by Saad today.

He attacks well but his defending is horrendous!

Posted

M Jones handballs backwards directly to player under pressure.

Sandy get a point and we regain possession, then on the kickin we kick it out of bounds on the full.

Jesus.

Oh god Gawn and Fitzy making horrible disgraceful decisions with the ball.

Won't be seeing these two in the seniors anytime soon.

Senior players or kids too?

Surely your aren't writing off O Mac, ANB, Harmes, Hunt etc etc already

yes because that is why where we are as a footy team, looking at players who are just not up to it,have been for years ,clubs like hawthorn geelong must laugh at our recuiting

Being absolutely murdered this quarter, only thing keeping us in it is the windy conditions making goals impossible for both teams.

4 set shots this quarter all missed for Sandy. We're screwed.

Posted

We finally get a mark inside 50 and Michie completely blows it. Horrible kick to teammate which goes over the line for a behind.

That's why he isn't playing seniors.

Posted

Dean terlich is racking up the biggest junk time of disposal this qtr.

Takes Every kick in but is getting taught a big lesson by Saad.

Posted

Can anyone believe Terlich was given a contract extension. FMD!

Whats worse is that he came third in the Bluey in 2013..... Matt Jones came 4th.. Sylvia 5th... just how bad were we, wow.

So we get a great run on to our attacking fifty with fast ball movement end to end, then as we finally get the ball just outside 50, instead of playing on quickly we hold for 10 seconds and give every opposition player the chance to flood our forward line.

The kick then gets spoiled, turned over, and Sandy scores a goal. Game over.

Dumb, dumb, dumb football. ANB looks nice though, but he's surrounded by idiots.

Nah.

Good clubs like Geelong and Hawthorn play their kids in the VFL where they can learn and develop and they don't torch 18year olds.

EOS could be looming with dark grey clouds for some of this lot. Sometimes the only way of ridding a team of bad decisions, poor footy instinct etc is to simply get rid of those committing the errors. If they cant learn....sayonara

Mark Jamar is finished. Has been next to useless.

Spencer will be our number 1 ruckman for the rest of the year based on todays form.

The worst thing is there is no body to be excited about playing today. ANB and Oscar MacDonald excluded who else that played today that would improve our seniors?

Shows our depth is very shallow

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
