Bout time we got a fee you scumbag umps

again, i'm sorry for saying Bradshaw would need time at Casey before playing.

Heck, if Petracca is deemed to be more physically ready than him, I CAN'T WAIT TO UNWRAP CHRISTIAN NEXT YEAR!!!!

some are born to play, some to tease

It was only a matter of time before the stats started to

show on the scoreboard.

Keep making excuses people. We're still rubbish.

31 points down, against the current best team in the competition and Premiership contenders.

We are not rubbish.

Fine just doing as he pleases..

Maybe he was using the "royal we"?

Bout time we got a fee you scumbag umps

free kick count 16-10 our way

What's wrong with Salem?

Can't see anything visibly wrong with him on the ground?

Also why bring in McKenzie and not tell him to go smash Fyfe in the centre????

That one hander sliding mark from Hogan- wow!

Bout time we got a fee you scumbag umps

Err, we lead the frees 17 to Freo's 10... I don't think we have too much of an excuse there.

Well final qtr coming up. We'll really see what our lot are made of.

Aint over til its over, if you're still prepared to put in.

Much will be learnt for mine over next 30 mins. The EOS naughty list at the fore here and now.

Those that want to be relevant in '16....nows the time to make your claim.

Go Dees...dig deep

Freo have had 113 more possessions, but have also had more tackles. That's a key indicator for me.

We're not as talented, and we don't work as hard. Lots of occasions when we break and no one other than hogan working really hard to get ahead of the ball

Bray, van and garland are the only people who have tackled fyfe.

How stiff was Vanders not to get the free as well

Edited by Ethan Tremblay

I am sure I am not watching the same game that others are here

We are not rubbish compared to where we have come from

That was rubbish , at least now we are competitive .

Our guys are outclassed today at least up till now

But as I said at the begging of this thread "I just want Melbourne to take it right up to them, to win would be a great result but as long as they play with pride Ill be content"

Lets just say at least up to now I don't feel embarrassed .

backed back and got collected in the lower back. Played out the qtr but didn't come back out.

Watts conserving energy for finals

Howe inside 50 everyday!

Some kicking practice needed

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
