Full list can be found here:

Nathan Jones the only Demon on it and he comes in at #42.

He also named Buddy as the number 1 player in the comp, with GAJ #2, Selwood #3 and so on.

The ghost of Chris Judd also made the list which I thought was interesting, among other things.

I don't put much credence in what Robbo has to say but thought it was a good talking point.

PUTTING GARRY ABLETT AT 2? yeh right...he's just trying to controversial.

Agreed. Robbo trying to be different by putting Buddy there. I'd put Fyfe above him. Hodge also underrated imo.

Interesting the ratings on Jones. He's under rated according to the polls from the general public. Nice little compliment

I am surprised that he didn't put Hird as #1 ... :)

Wonder how many slabs Robbo downed when he wrote up this list?

It's funny though - you will always have people unhappy with a list like this, but Robbo's screams of trying too hard to be controversial so he can generate discussion. It's almost a crime not to have Ablett as the #1 player in the competition, and that's only the beginning with this list.

And right on the eve of 360's new season. All an obvious marketing strategy to create controversy IMHO.

Everyone including the players know that Ablett is the no.1 player in the game...that is except for Robbo.

I'm not going to waste my time looking at that click bait. The guy is a disgrace, like Barrett and Hutchy, and should be run out of town asap.

who is Mark Robinson ?

It's funny how people get all worked up over top 50, like they say opinions are like a holes everyone got one, I just read them and move on, to me players come and go, I look to the red and the blue.

You beat me to it BB! Who gives a FF what Slobbo has to say?

compared to Slobbo this bloke VVV is informed, intelligent and coherent:

Not reading anything that [censored] writes but Ill assume therss about 15 Essendope players in it

"How can people say that Lance Franklin is overrated" - M.Robinson.

Well Robbo, you absolute MUG. When you put Lance Franklin ahead of the best midfielder in the modern era, and possibly the most decorated midfielder to play the game (or one of), then Franklin becomes MASSIVELY overrated. People weren't actually calling Franklin overrated as a player, they were saying YOU overrated him by putting him at 1 - which you did.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

Salem proved to be a valuable contributor as a reliable and solid one-on-one medium-sized defender in what was undoubtedly his most impressive season since the premiership year. He remains a highly capable rebounding option for the Demons as he approaches his 200th game at the club.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

Following an injury-interrupted start to the season, McVee struggled to maintain the standard he established in 2025 as he pursued an expanded role within the team structure. He remained a firm fan favourite and the club had hoped to negotiate a new contract with the former rookie selection from Western Australia, whose partner, Lily Johnson, plays for Melbourne's AFLW side. Those hopes were dashed when he expressed his desire to return to his home state and play for Fremantle. Like all players who have worn the red and blue and are leaving this year, we wish him well in the future.
