Those underlined are player I think are the top 11 paid players; RFA is determined by players being among these 11 (obviously this will be wrong but hopefully indicative).

Ages are from the 1st April 2015 - an arbitrary date fit for a fool...

Thanks for this, very good to have a look at. List is in an interesting position and resignings this year will shape our list for a long time to come. Interesting to see the kind of contract Howe might command with extensions for Salem, Toumpas, JKH, Hunt and Gawn (tregove im hoping) hopefully coming early in the year.

Will be interesting to see what happens with Trengove, everything hinging on his recovery. Hopefully last year was the last time we will see mass delistings. I think we've reached our quota the last couple of years.

I know ,many on here are questioning Terlich and M. Jones however, since they have arrived, they have consistently impressed the coaches and featured in the Bluey. Frankly, (& particularly if we do well this year). the hard job for Roos and Goodwin will be who to delist at the end of the season to enable us to participate in the trade/draft. This year it was made easier for us with the retirements of Clark, Byrnes and Barry, however I suspect that this will not be repeated (and also that King, Harmes and Hunt will develop at Casey and Trengove will make a recovery).

Out of all those that come OOC this year, the most important signings imo are Gawn, Salem and JKH.

The most important one thankfully, has already signed a 4-year extension. Onya Skipper!!!

I would add Toumpas to those three.

I would add Toumpas to those three.

I would add him to the requred listwhen he starts playing good footy to justify at the moment he hasnt

I haven't been able to get to a training, but watching his recent interview on the club's website it looks like the Toump has put on some serious size.

I hope he can prove himself this year and show some of that class he had pre hip injury.

Brayshaw update.

Brayshaw update.

You need to update JKH as well, as he signed on until the end of 2017 if I remember it correctly.

Beat me to it WB.

I know it's not popular to talk delistings before the season has begun, but for mine the 5 most vulnerable players on our list at this stage are Trengove, McKenzie, Fitzpatrick, Hunt and Riley.

Cross retiring (I'm not expecting this) or Jamar's end coming sooner rather than later (not expecting this either) might save someone.

I expect Gawn, Toumpas, Salem, JKH and Garland to re-sign. Howe should also belong in this group, but alas, there's the "delayed talks" thing. Pedersen and Bail decisions may come down to how many players we intend to trade in or take as free agents, but I expect they will also remain on the list.

No two-year contracted players to be delisted this year.

Will be interested to look back on this at the end of the year and see how far off the mark I was and/or how my opinion evolves over the year.

Michie end of 2015 I believe

I do expect Cross to retire. I see Jordie, JT if not recovered, Michie, Riley, Bail and Pedersen as most vulnerable. I think Fitzy may go past Pedo this year. I have Grimes, M. Jones, Jamar and Terlich in next group, if they have poor years.

However, I think we will take Jake Lovett and only a few more this year. We have turned over half the list in 18 months. This year will see fewer changes IMO, with the concentration on developing our own talent.

I agree with the above Mr Leg

However that could still see 6 - 7 changes which is not out of the question IMO.

The players you nominate will need good years to survive.

I still think we have ten players out of 40 that not up to taking us out of being a bottom four side.

Michie end of 2015 I believe

Very well may be.

Keep those asterisks in mind - I go off confirmation from those in the know here (PM me of course if you don't want to reveal anything) and the papers/club website.

I thought gawn had another year

You need to update for Salem and JKH.

Salem is not finalised and I have updated the OP for JKH.

Maybe not officially but if you listen to his interview, he seems a cert to sign until end of 2017.

Just thought I'd bump this up.

Channel 9 just reported that Howe is in no rush to sign.

'I don't believe it'll be a distraction...the contract stuff can be sorted throughout the year....we feel that we're on the same page'

This is good news.

Can't help wondering if that last ditch GWS trade offer might still be on the table with Treloar & Shiels up for possible trade at end of year.
