In all seriousness; those that say very, why?

He'll only be a cog in a machine and far from being a primary mover. His position will be playable by any number of substitutes. Hes not unique, hes not A grade...so how is he "crucial". Handy maybe ...hardly indispensable.

Anymore top 5 draft picks you wanna bag?

You are a bad supporter.

Very much the forgotten man but I think he may be a revelation this year. He's a quality individual and if his body gives him a chance he will be valuable in the midfield.

Aww diddums

Funny how ppl choise when or whether this top picking applies.

Its said once in the club you are JUST a player.

Thats ALL they are...workers ...to do a job. Top5 pi k one is irrelevant. Its about playing to ability.

That said. The OP asks how crucial is he. By any OBJECTIVE measure he isnt.

Will the team fall apart? Will it be incapable of winning ?

Ppl need to step back and get real and stop acting like its their best mate etc.

Its juvenile.

I like Trengove, when fit and playing well.

If he isnt hes replaced. Its not that [censored] hard really.

Again...hes not crucial.Few are

How important ? Hardly at all

Now , think first. Anything he can add , if back to his best , is a little bit of icing , but if I read the gist to mean is it imprtant in the sense of would we/ can we without him, then of course we can so he's hardly a pillar of our progress

Quite frankly ive already written him off.

Therefore anything is a bonus.

Trenners isnt crucial to our forward progress.

Hate to say it - but I have to agree.

I have a great deal of respect for the guy - but I don't really expect him to be much more than a depth player going forward. It's not just that he's slow - but that he has no acceleration and no "stop and turn" tricks to compensate.

If I'm wrong then he'll be a terrific bonus

Before anybody gets overcome with angriness.

Paul Roos was given the coaching job.

His modus operandi is to trade and be prepared to try and trade UP.

With Trengove on their list (and his infamous sling tackle) maybe the Tigers might advance further than the first round of the Finals in 2015?

That's why we got him in to make the tuff decisions to fix this club.

If it was Goodwin doing it we would be asking for his head.

A bit touchy are we Bubby? Awwww diddums!

The Club has answered nothing, Richmond have asked the question and we have allowed Trenners the choice. Should pay more attention diddums.

Sounds like the annual Colin Sylvia oracle issued about this time of year.

Yep Qwerty "He will be a gun that boy Just needs a full pre season "

MFC must make a lot of hard decisions this year and next to remake the list and give the club a future

JT JW JG are just the beginning I am so glad Frawley has gone Spoke to a rabid Hawks supporter over the weekend They really believe he is a gun hahahahaha Pick 3 for that lunkhead is the bargain of the year. The hawks hopefully will be completely shocked at his poor decision making and slow brain.

Well he is stuffed now as his foots buggered again. Just read on the MFC web page

1. His foot hurt, but we thought that was normal after not running???

2. Do we need new doctors, physios, a new foot surgeon or just some better luck for once?

Just heard talk on SEN that he has hurt his foot again whilst doing a fitness test for Richmond.

So Richmond don't want him now, we don't want him, but he is still a demon and once again injured.

Don't know how to feel about this situation.

Richmond's insurance can give us pick 12 to cover it

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
