Improved to the point he is worth keeping.

But still an average player on his good days with a poor kick.

That pretty much sums it up - he is less terrible than other players on our list.

Assuming he doesn't improve himself, it will be at least two years before the list improves enough for him to be ousted.

Bail only gets a game when we are not up to standard. He has 12 months left on the list ... IMO

Needs to back himself more. On more then one occasion this year he found himself running inside 50 and attempted to kick to another player in a marking contest instead of having the shot himself.

I hope he improves, but think he'll eventually either next year or in 2016 find himself out of the 22 and then eventually off the list.

Big difference from last year is he didn't blaze away every time he got within 60m of the big sticks.

He has pace and he puts in repeat efforts. He's not flashy, but he at least looks like he gives a damn.

Ultimately, he's probably only best 22 because our list is so wretchedly average.

I'm a fan. Unlike a couple of his locker room neighbours, I don't think he's symptomatic of our plight; I think he's undervalued among supporters. He runs hard, tackles hard, uses the ball OK most of the time, and finds the goals. My biggest concern would be more about finding the ball enough, especially on bad days - he can become the invisible man sometimes. I think this will improve with experience.

Will play most games again next year I think.

Bail turned it on at the right time and pushed himself ahead of about 10-12 others on our list. He ran hard, tackled hard and ran hard to the point where he became valuable. Still needs to work on his disposal, however Bail's 2014 was solid and deserves to be recognised as such.

For Bail, 2015 will be a tougher year. Competition for spots will come next season, and Bail will start in our best 22. Can he hold on to a spot? It depends on the development of those who are not currently in the 22, and whether or not Bail can take his game up a notch. I would like to see him take his game up a level, if his can develop his kicking he could become a very very handy player for us.

I loved him early on but that is wavering, I love that he runs all day and he has legitimate pace, I just wish he could put on a bit more size and fix his kicking action.
