Ollie is a good player

Toump may or may not have been better depends which conspiracy theory you choose to follow.

Hopefully Roosy and other coaches will be in Toumps ear and tell him what he needs to do to be better than Ollie.

Toump will hopefully not be haunted and falter but will improve.

He may not become as good as Ollie as it will also depend upon his teammates development.

JV and TV also have something to prove and will need toump to restore their credibility

The better Ollie is the better our guys must be .

I don't think they'd tell him what he needs to do - to be better than Wines.

But rather what he needs to do - to be the best player he can be.

We have our own Ollie Wines in Angus Brayshaw.

If Adelaide or Port wanted in on Toumpas for a late first rounder, I'd jump at it.

Just a lazy 33 possession BOG Performance!

Would trade aggressively to land him at the DEES!

This thread is great. I can't get past this in my head: Viney, Brayshaw, Petracca, Vandenburg, Kent, & Ollie as one seriously nasty future midfield to play against.

FCS he is at Port: Toump is with us. Get over it.

what you talking about, mono? when did this happen? why am i the last to find out?

We coulda had Class.

We coulda had somebody

We coulda been a contender

Instead of the Toump

Which is what he is.

.......

It was you Todd,it was you

You remember that night at the draft when you said you was gonna take the price on Wilson?

You was my Father Todd so you shoulda looked out for me just a little bit ,just a little bit.

Perhaps we could contact the AFL and say that we made a mistake. What sounded like 'Toumpas' on draft night was actually 'Wines'.

I thought this is where we could come to roam free and lament free of recriminations?

It is Skuit. Ignore that nasty man. Roam.

Skuit, I defended Lucas Cook, even when he left football to manufacture T shirts. The bloke was a [censored] visionary. The football world just couldn't see it. But I digress.

Excellent observation RTG.

I often thought we could devise a perfect game plan if we had enough peyote as a team and then discussed our visions.

Digress away

Good thing this is where we can come to digress freely and live in a sliding doors world free from reality.

Reckon the tigers have a thread like this about buddy?

Garlett, Michie, Newton . . . I love how the current admin are not just steadying the ship but also going about rewriting the 2010 draft. Expect Howe and McKenz out next year and Lamb, Prestia and Bennel in.

I thought that was what we were doing with our Tami sessions?

Ah, let'em go. They gotta cry over that bloomin' spilt milk somewhere. Don't normally come to this thread, but slipped in to look around. Fcuk it's a funny one. Some good one liners here guys. Keep'em coming.

Does Britney have a wonky eye? And Toumpas, Wines derpy derp.

FCS he is at Port: Toump is with us. Get over it.

Trouble is Jimmy is going about as well as the Greek economy. Next contract may be in drachmas.

I thought this place was closed for renovations?

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

From the start, Melbourne’s performance against the Gold Coast Suns at Peoples First Stadium was nothing short of a massive botch up and it came down in the first instance to poor preparation. Rather than adequately preparing the team for battle against an opponent potentially on the skids after suffering three consecutive losses, the Demons looking anything but sharp and ready to play in the opening minutes of the game. By way of contrast, the Suns demonstrated a clear sense of purpose and will to win. From the very first bounce of the ball they were back to where they left off earlier in the season in Round Three when the teams met at the MCG. They ran rings around the Demons and finished the game off with a dominant six goal final term. This time, they produced another dominant quarter to start the game, restricting Melbourne to a solitary point to lead by six goals at the first break, by which time, the game was all but over.

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

Coming off four consecutive victories and with a team filled with 17 AFL listed players, the Casey Demons took to their early morning encounter with the lowly Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium with the swagger of a team that thought a win was inevitable. They were smashing it for the first twenty minutes of the game after Tom Fullarton booted the first two goals but they then descended into an abyss of frustrating poor form and lackadaisical effort that saw the swagger and the early arrogance disappear by quarter time when their lead was overtaken by a more intense and committed opponent. The Suns continued to apply the pressure in the second quarter and got out to a three goal lead in mid term before the Demons fought back. A late goal to the home side before the half time bell saw them ten points up at the break and another surge in the third quarter saw them comfortably up with a 23 point lead at the final break.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.
