[censored] I don't think I hate a player more than that Green bloke

I wish he played for us.

Thanks - I'm getting the picture. Definitely should have stayed for desert.

I'm overseas and it's late at night. I've rushed back from dinner to tune in. Can someone give me a short synopsis of the game to date. I gather from a quick look at some of the comments, I should have not skipped desert....

Go back to your dinner

Despite having 357 disposals to 333, we've had just 33 inside 50s to 58.

It's not getting any better, even when playing weak opposition like Brisbane.

We've also played this last quarter like we're coming off a six day break, instead of having had the week off.

JKH has messed up a couple of crucial loose balls for us. Needs to stand up.

Haha! You cannot be serious, you're blaming a kid for the bounce of the ball from a shot kick from a team mate?

The real worry is our total lack or run and disposals, we can't kick goals are poor by foot. A big trade period is required T.Viney and Roosy

This is a sad effort in the last quarter... A few of our link up players in the back line will enjoying the player review this week.. basic skills are either lacking or they just don't care enough.

I picked the lions with little doubt. We lack skill. We lack heart. We lack goalkickers. It is a combination that will see effort, when it exists, count for little. Nothing will change until the cattle changes. And that won't happen for a few years

Why why why why why why why why why why why why why????!!!!

Why the hell do we continue to support this side? What have they even given us for our loyalty?

Games like this make you seriously question the progress. This has been an abomination.

Many players need to be culled and if Saty has a problem with that he can get stuffed. Absolutely sick of it.

That Brisbane Lions coaching box is so inbred it's unbelievable. Basically all their coaches are ex-lions.

The other two are true, that one is not.

Bitterly disappointing loss this one, considering we had 3 quarters of domination for very little reward. Titan predicted it pages ago - once they get the momentum we are done. Couldn't have been more right if he tried.

I can't begin to describe how annoyed I am, we kick the first goal of the last quartet and totally capitulate. Leaders, leaders, leaders!

One of our players get blatantly decked and the response from the players was weak as [censored]. Someone should've lined the bloke up straight away.

Once again lost it in one quarter. Not happy.

I wonder why. Can't imagine what it will be next week. I was full of hopes today. Even Nathan Jones let us down.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
