Pedersen, Dunn, Jetta and Jamar

Watts - hadn't written him off but felt the potential far outstripped the output. Not quite there yet but well on the way.

I don't often write players off, but Dunn was one that I would have been happy to see the back of.

I was happy to see Jetta retained and I was comfortable with most of our recent trades at the time, except for Petterd but his lack of durability was always going to limit him.

I would not have been upset to see Watts traded for a reasonable pick at the end of last season, but he still has a fair way to go.

Jeez Jerry. 2007. Most of us have loved him, hated him, loved him again, hated him again and loved him again in that time.

I know I definitely have. And I used to fluctaute pretty much inversely to popular opinion.

Until now.

Love having him in the side and very happy for him to get his life membership.

I, personally, will never again write off any player as being unable to eventually make it, not while Paul Roos is coach.

Same here

I think he has a couple of surprises left for us too

I can imagine Sam Blease coming in this week vs Essendon and playing well and turning his career around

in Roos we trust

Well i cant recall if i have ever made any comments about current players here but there is something i would like to apologize for,

I would like to apologize to all of the MFC fans for my actions.

In 1994 i bought my first MFC jumper and promptly put my favourite player on it. Number 5. We all know how that season(s) ended up.

In 2001 I purchased a new jumper and changed to 22.

In 2003 another jumper but this time number 11 as im a tall lanky thing i thought i might go for Jolly.

In 2009 once more another jumper and went back to number 22

In 2011 another one and as many of us did i put 24 on the back

And last year i purchased the "new" playing jumper with the MFC embossed on the front and as Mitch was a monster of a man and i had a massive man crush i put 11 on the back.

I have noticed a couple of things. I have a addiction to buying MFC gear, that’s one thing and the second thing is whatever number i put on tend to be cursed.

I saw this trend last year but i thought the number 11 was a safe bet. For that guys i am truly sorry and don’t worry i wont be buying any jumpers for a few years and if i do then i wont put a number on the back.

During draft time a friend {maybe not}was explaining to me about Lewis Taylors severe leg injury.

Yeah i was wrong and he has proved himself to be a terrific player so far this year.

One of the best first year players weve seen for awhile.Hasnt missed games, continually gets pill.

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

    TURNAROUND by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons won their first game at home this year in the traditional King’s Birthday Weekend clash with Collingwood VFL on Sunday in a dramatic turnaround on recent form that breathed new life into the beleaguered club’s season. The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

It's Game Day and the Demons are once again faced with a classic 8 point game against a traditional rival on King's Birthday at the MCG. A famous victory will see them reclaim a place in the Top 8 whereas a loss will be another blow for their finals credentials.

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
