Maybe it's time for a new letter by Peter "the saint" Jackson. Surely after the past month those who haven't signed on would at least consider a lesser membership. We'd have over 41,000 members if unsigned members from just the last two years recommitted. It's exciting times. You'd never want to be considered a bandwagon member. Better to sign on now!

Not hard to imagine us smashing them.

It is clear that it is not only important who you play but the time your play them. The Hawks were down 5-6 stars the other week and obviously that would be the best time to play them. Players unavailable for both teams have a major effect on the result. Our worst result for the year was against the Eagles who were at full strength while we were well down on personnel.

It is clear that it is not only important who you play but the time your play them. The Hawks were down 5-6 stars the other week and obviously that would be the best time to play them. Exactly right, our draw is much tougher in the second half of the year. We've only played 2 sides in the top 8 up till now (Sydney and Gold Coast). But we've improved so much, that we'd be 6-3 or 7-2 from those games if we played them in the 2nd half of the year.

We should win at least three games in the back half of the season, but it's hard to see us winning more than 6. Of our remaining games we teams outside the 8 in the Bulldogs, Essendon, Brisbane, GWS and West Coast away. The rest of the sides are in the 8, including Port twice and North twice,

Key games coming up against the Pies, and Bombers. If we can get a win in one or both of those, then who knows. But 6-8 wins is a realistic goal, what I was thinking at the start of the year, and could've been 10-12 if things went our way...

I agree, we had a lot of luck, but I attribute a large part of richmonds poor goal kicking to the pressure we put on them when they took those shots. We were shutting down there forwards inside 50, our mid were chasing hard forcing them to rush shots from 50 out.

I still think we would be pressed for 6-8 wins. Id love it and its possible, but we will have to wait and see.

Agreed. The Dawes goal was a perfectly excecuted "no fluke involved" goal. Dawes saw an open goal square and just banged it long and it went through.
