109-23 3QT

We are playing a premiership team....

Expecting too much.... From a list which was flogged by a crappy coach & crappy culture!

This will take time not 2 games.....

Disgraceful! Wooden spooners. We will struggle to win a game.

And so it begins... yawn

Let this be the only hundred point loss we embarrass ourselves with this year and Roosy will hammer that point home at 3QT.

Its a full house down here plus it's [censored] hot. Luckily I left at half time. Skills between us and hawks are miles apart.

This statement has been continually cut and pasted since october 2006 :)

I would bet my house we aren't the only team they do this to all year, i reckon this is mostly about them being insanely good

Did the MFC have a say in who they play in the NAB and this practice match?

Seems odd to play Cats and then Hawks if you are trying to rebuild confidence and cohesion in a scarred team...

Well we are 7 goals down in the 2nd. If this keeps up we could lose by 20.

2 more goals to the 20 and we have just started the last.

its a shame buddy isnt there to help slow them down

they will be a far better side without him. And free up salary cap space.

Whorethorn will be onto James Frawley big time this year.

Whorethorn will be onto James Frawley big time this year.

So will every one of the 17 other sides in the AFL i'd suggest.

It’s Game Day and the Demons have made the long trip west to take on Fremantle tonight at Optus Stadium. Can Melbourne make it two from two to start the season, and what are you hoping to see from the Dees under the lights in Perth?

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Saturday Night’s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourne’s memorable premiership triumph.
